Congrats Cougars! Do the 9th proud, but especially the 33rd District!

Raisor started for the Birds and was lights out. Mitchell Jones relieved him in the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd. Got Hart to hit a 2-hopper to first but it went through the legs. Conner up 1-0. Ward then hit a laser to the wall to score two more.

 

Ostertage started for Conner. Went about 5. Craddock finished.

 

Conner had 3 hits. HHS had about 6.

I didn't go because...well it's baseball and I didn't want to jinx them. Sounds like a great game!

As I mentioned in another thread the last time Conner won the region was 1979. Opponent? Birds.

I was really impressed with Ricky Raisor's change and curve tonight. NASTY!! The Birds will be very good next year..
