Beechnut

Congratulations Matt!!!! It's an honor and a privilege to say I've watched you grow up into a fine young man and football player! AND, to get to go to Brown.....You earned it. Enjoy!

CONGRATULATIONS TIGERS!!!!!! Great job. Keep the groove!

OH GROAN.... But, I have to hand it to you, you're quick! I like it! Congrats to all the nominees. Good Job! Good Luck Brady!

Northern KY is proud of you, Pioneers! Stand tall and relish the memories of a great season!

Congratulations Bluebirds! Two today for NKY. Ok Breds and Pioneers, you know what you have to do tomorrow!

And we're doubly glad we won, because if it would have gone the other way and we wanted to vent about the refereeing it would look like sour grapes. It wasn't just the calls that were made-it was the seemingly tons of calls that WEREN'T made. Like HOLDING, Holding, and MORE holding; block in the back; FINGERS IN EYES; fumbles; bad spots.....ughhhhh. It's just so frustrating. All those boys from both teams worked so hard to get to that game. They deserved to be able to play the game fairly and cleanly.

I didn't want to put my thoughts on the game in my previous post, but.... That was THE worst officiated game I have ever witnessed, and also contained some of the most UNSPORTSMANLIKE behavior I've ever seen. 'Nuff said.

Congratulations Tigers! #11!!!!

The big day is here and we're getting ready to leave for Louisville. I'm craving pizza! GO TIGERS!!!!!!!

Totally Agree! Our Pep Rally is going on as we speak. (Someone had to hold down the fort!) The parents usually get involved and 'surprise' the team with some kind of skit or cheer. I would love to be a fly on the wall-Beechwoodfan is probably in full regalia! GO TIGERS! BRING HOME #11.

Can't help but note that back in '89 NONE of today's players were even BORN!! This year's SENIORS were born in '90 or '91! Makes a difference. In the players eyes, there IS no history!

How rude of me..... Congratulations to the Rockets on a fine season. What a wonderful display of support from your fans. I was on the opposite hillside looking into the stands-What a sea of Blue, then our Red! I'm sure we shall meet again! Good Luck and safe travels.

CONGRATULATIONS TIGERS!!!! Make it #11! Enjoy the week, but work hard at practice. Your jobs are not yet complete! We Believe!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS SK!!!!!!! This week you get to start some school traditions leading up to the big day. Enjoy every minute of it. You deserve it. But remember, there's still work to do!!! Go get it!

CC wouldn't have made it this far if they weren't competitive. I would venture to say that any team still playing deserves to be where they are. Since this is round 4, it SHOULD be tough. You would HOPE it to be. The teams SHOULD be getting better and better. Now, that being said...... Safe trip for all the Crittenden faithful. Good, hard hitting game for both sides, with NO injuries. Focus on the prize, TIGERS!!!!!! We Believe.

How long of a drive will Crittenden Co have? Will there be many fans along for the trip? I am not familiar with the school or area at all.

Congratulations to the Beechwood Tigers! Hope all have a safe trip home. We're one step closer!!!

WHEW!!!! It was a little too close for comfort there for awhile. I'm confident we'll have a home game next friday!!!!! Now, back to my tree-trimming. Thanks for the updates.

Sounds like they're neck and neck. Do we have any details?

Go Tigers! I'm with you in spirit!

Focus Tigers! Practice, then eat lots of turkey, Then Focus!!!!!

Going to be a good game and another cold night. Can't remember a game I was more chilled than last year's damp, misty night. Good Luck to both teams! (I'm a little freaked out by the colors on the poll-Beechwood is-eek-BLUE, and Frankfort-beautiful RED. Was that by choice, or chance?? )

I still feel guilty for allowing my son to play injured for the majority of his last season. My sister put it in perspective for me. She said, "You could no more keep him from playing than you could force him to play a sport he hated." True, true. It was his life and love from age 6! He had 12 wonderful years of memories, and went out as State Champ. How could I have kept that from him?

Congratulations to both teams on a terrific season. Way to go, Tiger Cubs, Coaches, and fans! Excellent, just excellent!
