  1. The Male folks are just bitter because for 2 years they've had the best talent in the state and haven't won the big prize.
  2. Now I can't get rid of the one on the side.
  3. Guilty as well. Went to a bar recently and asked for their bourbon list. When I got it I saw Jack Daniels listed. I left. Any bar that would include Tennessee Sour Mash whiskey on their bourbon menu is no place I wish to patronize.
  4. Will the new 6A alignment in football for Jefferson County encourage (or at least cause consideration of) this sort of thing. Finish 4th and your reward is a first round game at Trinity/Male/X (and yes I'm assuming that those are the only real contenders for championships in the 2 JeffCo. districts) Finish 5th and your first round game is at SK/Ryle/Connor/Boone/Cooper/Campbell. If I'm Butler, PRP, J-Town, Seneca, Eastern, Ballard or Manual who do I have the better chance of beating?
  5. And had the rules I would like to see applied to football were in place Trinity (who won the state championship in football in case you missed it) then Trinity would not have even been in the playoffs. You should EARN the right to play in the playoffs during the regular season.
  6. I'm at the Atherton/Trinity game. It's 61-14 with 4 minutes left. Atherton got their 1st FG at 5:30 in the 4th. I can tell by their faces and body language they would have rather not played this game.
  7. I agree 100%. Teams that bad shouldn't be in the playoffs, although I would argue that the district tournament is more a part of the regular season. Why don't you start a petition and let's get this changed.
  8. Even more important then his coaching acumen, Coverdale is an outstanding teacher.
  9. I run the pool and hold the money so I could make that happen. :sssh: It's only a dollar in ours. We re-draw every week and as long as you're in it costs you a dollar to draw so the pot builds. Also if you draw a slug right off you're not stuck with them for the whole season.
  10. Wouldn't want Nick Saban either. Actually he has 3 wins over Trinity in the past 2 years, my point is that with the talent Male had on those teams he probably should have had 4 and at least 1 if not 2 championships.
  11. Really? Two years in a row now he's had the best talent in the state. What does he have to show for it?
  12. Apparently that was a tribute to Birdman where Michael Keton did a scene similarly clothed. I haven't seen the movie so I don't know and I was totally lost during it. Also a bit of a tribute to Whiplash as well.
  13. Have they even seen the whip. What most people don't remember or choose to iforget is that the final score was the score at halftime. Trinity could have easily hung 50 more on them (no running clock rule then) but played their entire roster the second half. The way Trinity was piecing together units it says more about the HUGE discrepancy in talent in that game that SK wasn't even able to score on the JV subs in the second half.
  14. Survivor pool number 29 starts tomorrow with the first drawing. Here's hoping I don't draw the first one out.
  15. OK this one was uploaded to YouTube by the Oscars so it shouldn't be taken down. [video=youtube_share;Y2KSOeLXIzo]http://youtu.be/Y2KSOeLXIzo
  16. What do you bet they were on welfare? There have I got the knack of painting with a broad brush down?
  17. Translation: I would rather post random tripe then actually engage in a discussion because I can't back up the tripe that I posted. We're back the Alinsky method of obfuscation. Still as condescending as ever as well.
  18. Lady Gaga's performance [video=youtube_share;SdyziIHCiL0]http://youtu.be/SdyziIHCiL0
  19. Looking forward to it. The last few seasons with all new players have been very good. Question if anyone knows for sure. The TV promos say something to the effect that the contestants will be together for 39 days. Are they going to all live together as separate tribes as they have done before?
  20. I actually watched from start to finish. Best moment of the night was Lady Gaga singing (very well I might add) a medley of songs from The Sound of Music followed by Julie Andrews coming on stage and both of them sharing a tearful hug. Still can't believe Joan Rivers wasn't included in the In Memorium montage.
