  1. I'm sorry but until they prove otherwise on the field all NKY 6A schools are irrelevant in any discussion of potential championships.
  2. I can't believe I forgot this one. I have used it daily for almost 3 years. Map My Walk.
  3. You're the one that took it there. Everything has become about racism, sexism and any other -ism you care to name if the person you are critical of has left leaning views. People bash Obama because he's black, people bash Hillary because she's a woman but it's funny how Clarence Thomas or Sarah Palin don't get the same umbrella.
  4. Oh please, why does EVERYTHING become about being a racist or a misogynist? Can people not have a genuine difference of opinion? Do people that us this as a crutch in any and every argument not realize that just like the boy who cried wolf, when there is genuine racist or misogynistic behavior people no longer pay attention because it has become such a throw away claim? I pretty much refuse to watch anything with Sean Penn in it because of his extreme leftist views. Does that make me a raging ex-teen stoner portraying-ist or something?
  5. I've seen SK play 5 times. Trinity 232 SK 0. What's your point?
  6. I was mistaken, Scott County would be on the same side as the NKY teams for Semi-state.
  7. It is. The latest Trinity could meet either X or Male in the playoffs would be the regional championship and then they are likely looking at Scott County in the Semi-state. All the "traditional" powers in 6A are on one side of the bracket. No wonder the NKY 6A folks want to make this set-up permanent.
  8. It's not. The East Jefferson district (Trinity etc.) will be matched up against the west Jefferson District (Male, X etc.) in the regional. There is also a proposal afoot supported by the coaches in NKY to stop rotating the first round match-ups in 6A.
  9. With the new district set-up and playoff match-ups it's very likely that an NKY team advances to the championship game again in 2015. The only question is can they stay within 30 points of whoever they meet up with? History says it's not likely.
  10. Even with the loss of their QB and a big part of their O-Line Male will still be very talented, maybe the most talent in the state. Their JV QB was very good and their line did an outstanding job. They were a coaches poor judgement away from beating Trinity's JVs this year and I think that was their only JV loss. Wakefield will be back for his senior season and if I'm not mistaken so will their best running back. It once again remains to be seen if they have the "intangibles" to get over the hump. They certainly didn't in 13 and 14.
  11. This. The first year they did it UK had a game scheduled Saturday afternoon so they couldn't do the morning games. They had some of the biggest crowds they ever had for the semis. Thus "in the best interests" it was mad a permanant change.
  12. Actually Gunsmoke was overtaken by Law and Order as the longest running live action series and The Simpsons has them both beat.
  13. Since my 2 favorite MASH and Andy Griffith characters have already been mentioned I'll go with Walter "Radar" O'Reilly and Ernest T. Bass, who only appeared in 6 episodes but after Barney may be the most talked about character.
  14. Who plays on day 1 and who gets a day off between games? Example 1 of the arguments that would occur.
  15. RM please allow me to add our own LSURock to your list. Boy can you imagine to football talk. Thought and prayers for the family of Purplehaze. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
  16. Google your name. What comes up that surprises you most. For me: There's a elderly sex offender in another state with the same name.
  17. Districts are seeded (mostly) because all of those teams play each other in the regular season. There are actual results to base the seedings on. Any seeding plan that could possibly be used for the Sweet 16 would be controversial from the get go. Someone would always feel they got robbed.
  18. As long as there are outlets that give him a pulpit to preach his idiocy from he's an issue. A national network (even MSNBC with their 10's of viewers) give his idiocy some semblance of credibility. When he's on arguably the most balanced show on that DNC propaganda vehicle making idiotic statements like this it gives him even more credibility.
  19. That can't be right. I though only private schools had players from outside their home county???:idunno:
  20. Poor Al Sharpton. The shooting of these officers is frustrating to him. LINK
  21. Back to the subject. Didn't a Trinity big man win Mr. Basketball their championship season?
  22. Not a kid. It's a matter of public record. It concerns an AAU coach who has close ties to the program. That's the last I'm going to say about it in this thread because it really has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.
  23. I'm a very firm believer that the punishment should fit the crime. I don't think I could thing of enough heinous things to so to these animals.
