Another question, could this have the effect of police departments looking the other way when blacks commit crimes so as not to have the wrath of the DOJ come down on them. Finally did anyone think there was any chance that the DOJ wouldn't find "something" after they pre-judged the guilt of officer?

I don't remember any of those you listed being "asked" to announce their retirement mid-season and seeing their successor named during their final season.

Of course you realize that Trinity was already playing at Thurman Hutchins when the football stadium was revamped? You also realize that the baseball configuration of the old stadium was less then ideal. A short pop fly to left field was a home run and the football goal post was in fair territory? You also realize that Trinity did extensive searching for a place to build a baseball facility in the St. Matthews area but were unsuccessful. You also realize that Trinity has signed a long term agreement with metro parks for the use of the baseball field at Thurman Hutchins and over the past several years has invested their own money into building bleachers and a press box/storage/concessions building. And if the snow ever melts they will finish the renovations of the field itself. Hopefully a few facts won't totally discredit your rant.

Beat me to it. Star Trek in general and Spock and his neck pinch in particular was a huge factor in my lifelong love of science fiction. As I understand it internet providers will not be allowed to offer differing levels of service at different costs. Does this mean that we will no longer have te option of paying more or less or faster or slower service? Seems kind of like Obamacare where the government has deemed that one size fits all.

I'm thinking more in terms of now mandating what has to be provided. I'll admit I like everyone else is pretty in the dark about this. My biggest concern is that if this was just some innocuous rules that would have little or no effect on people why was it kept so close to the vest? I'm old enough to remember the strict government controls that used to be in place on telephones. The thought of those kinds of onerous regulations on the net is scary.
