Playing really, really bad teams. No one in 6A NKY plays defense.

Does anyone in NKY 6A play defense?

Should Private Schools Have Their Own Playoff?

First time I have ever heard Texas, Georgia and Alabama described at progressive states. What if a multiplier was used? What would the effect be? How would it change anything? -

Because they have chosen to put themselves at a disadvantage. How about answering some of the questions that have been posed to you. If school system A chooses only to admit students with odd numbered addresses they have put themselves at a disadvantage, should all other schools be expected to follow? -

Because they have chosen to hamstring themselves. Maybe Boone County schools should just play for their own little championship. -

No, the title of and the gist of the thread is one that has been discussed ad nauseum here. Those of us that don't think there should be separate playoffs for private schools have always maintained that most of the advantages people see the private schools having are a results of limitations that public schools and/or school systems have placed on themselves. -

Build a bigger building instead of 3 new schools. -

That's a rule they impose on themselves like higher academic standards, drug policies etc. -

Exactly what advantages do they have? Aren't any of them outweighed by the large tuition bills you mention? -

Are there KHSAA rules that all schools aren't required to follow? -

Should the people that are able to do it be penalized if they choose to? -

Any rules at any public school that prevents out of county or out of state players are strictly self imposed. They have chosen to restrict themselves. Some schools in KY drug test and kids can be removed from athletic competition for violations. Some schools have more stringent academic eligibility requirements then those mandated by the KHSAA. Would those schools be right to expect all other schools adopt and abide by those same constraints? -

Wow Patrick was a bit salty. -
Article basically states that allegations of recruiting violations against the boy's team have surfaced as part of the lawsuit brought by the fired girl's coach. LINK The Kentucky High School Athletic Association is investigating the Bowling Green High School boys basketball program for recruiting violations during its 2016-17 state championship season, according to a lawsuit filed by former Bowling Green girls basketball coach LaVonda Johnson. Joe Angolia, communications director for the KHSAA, confirmed Tuesday “there is an ongoing review of the 2016-17 Bowling Green boys basketball team.” According to the lawsuit filed Oct. 2 in Warren Circuit Court, Johnson “provided information to the KHSAA regarding the alleged violations … throughout the 2016-17 school year.”

When Trinity played Male the Bulldogs didn't seem to have the swagger they've had recently. When Trinity played X they came out fired up but their O couldn't match up with Trinity's D. If Male uses their athleticism, and I really don't think they did that against Trinity, they can get the win. If they try to play the more conservative game they did against Trinity then X will win.

I'm old enough to remember when most people only carried major medical. They paid out of pocket for routine stuff. I clearly remember going to my GP as a teen with my siblings for booster shots. My mom paid for all 5 of us and it was less then 20 bucks. People need to stop expecting that everything will be paid for. The more they want covered the higher the cost will be. -
Final per scoreboard. J-town has likely "won" a trip to Simon Kenton in round 1 while Seneca will stay close to home for a game against Trinity in round 1.

I am a season ticket holder at PJCS for Louisville games and have been since Schnellenberger was on the on the sidelines at the Fairgrounds. Does it take "to long" to play a college game? Between what seem like constant media time outs that seem to last forever, and the delays in the flow of the game caused by the college replay rules, it just seems to me the games last to long. The UofL Murray game kicked off right at 3:30 last Saturday and I left the stadium at the end of the game at 6:40. I've been to NFL games with the same 15 minute quarters and they don't seem to take as long to play.

And how did he not know that the symbol was the well? I knew that right off. If I were Cole I would have lied about where I got the raft and looked like crazy there, then gone to the well by myself later. Also, how long before Chrissy's useless idol if "found" and causes Alan to jump on the crazy train again? -

What's wrong with Paul Dunbar?
All Tell replied to KnightTime07's topic in KY Football (High School)
If there was a choice between a school that was going to be competitive and Dunbar why wouldn't they choose the competitive school? -
Nice post but unfortunately Murray hasn’t played a down this year due to a pre season injury.
