  1. Also to note, Rajon Rondo Jr is one to keep an eye on. His quickness and ability to finish at the basket is impressive. Once he develops his shot, he's going to be tough to handle. Granted, he may have been off but his jumper didn't look as smooth as his ability to attack the basket.
  2. Sloppy play in the 4th let North Oldham come back and send it to OT. Dixie had decent looks at the end of regulation and OT, but couldn't convert. A similar thing occurred in the NCC game, but they were able to hold off. Fatigue is likely coming into play as they really only go 6 deep.
  3. Dad was a track state champion back in the day. For those that have known Nate since he was a little kid, none of this comes as a surprise. The kid was just built different.
  4. I only watched the first half, but WV lives and dies by the 3, and I didn't see any pure shooters during warmups or the first half. Their warmups, outside of the initial layup line, consist of nothing but shooting 3's. They probably shot 20 of them in the first half. Maybe they were just off? For Dixie, their ball movement led to a lot of easy looks at the basket.
  5. Best chain sub shop in the area. They better not mess with it.
  6. Woodford doesn’t have the atmosphere to intimidate. The announcer had to instruct the fans on the cheers. They do have a nice little setup. The only thing they do to mess with the opponent is stick 3 toilets in the locker room with no dividers or privacy. Lol Also, Highlands fans, they use GoFan. This way you know in advance and they don’t give you a long lecture on why you don’t have a ticket when you walk up to the ticket booth,
  7. I don't anticipate Gregg being in long enough to get 100. I see backups playing early and often for both sides to stay healthy for the playoffs.
  8. I think the final was: Cooper 22 Dixie 6
  9. They are just decimated with injuries. 1st and 2nd string QBs are out. 1st and 2nd/3rd string RBs are out. 2 of top 3 WRs are out. Starting OT out. Starting CBs, S, LB, and K out.
  10. Cooper 38 Dixie 12 I believe this was the final score last night.
  11. The KHSAA site only has records as of 2021, and on that is a 60 yarder. The 57 yards would rank 3rd. However, I’m sure there are some kids that have been around this distance the past 3 years.
  12. Conner has a kicker. Nailed a 57 yarder with ease at the end of the half.
  13. Not necessarily true. He's trying to play tonight as he's been practicing this week.
  14. Stay safe
  15. Ryle won, just don’t know the score.
  16. There are multiple roads (and towns) wiped out in western NC. Asheville is not accessible, and they have no power, cell service, or radio. Chimney Rock is essentially gone. People are stranded on mountains as the access roads were washed out. If you were in a low lying area, your place was likely destroyed by flood or landslides. If you were up in the mountains, your way out was destroyed. It’s really bad.
  17. This is the route to my daughter’s school. I’ve driven it about 5 times in the past 2 months. It’s really not that bad of a drive through there. The new route that I have to take adds over an hour to the drive, assuming that hasn’t been compromised.
  18. The game has been moved to tomorrow (28th) at 12pm at Boone.
  19. NKYFL has a lot of teen officials. All of our games have been at least 2 teens with 1 or 2 veteran officials. They have done great so far.
  20. SK beats Dixie 48-0, or something like that.
  21. I think Tucker keeps the job going forward.
