First Frisch's has run into the ground and it appears Jersey Mike's may be following suit.

If I remember right, Blackstone bought Quizno's a number of years ago and ran them out of business.  Get to Jersey Mike's now, before prices go up and quality goes down.

Ugh.  Got a Jersey Mike's next door to my building in downtown Cincinnati.  I use their app.  Same order.  Down the elevator and about 100 steps and I have my work lunch.  Great for rainy days.

Best chain sub shop in the area.  They better not mess with it.

By far. Jersey Mike's is killing all other sub shops. 

My go to has always been Penn Station.

Which really doesn't take a whole lot of effort or skill. Jersey Mike's doesn't come close to a real sub shop that you'd find in the Mid-Atlantic states (Eastern PA, South Jersey, Delaware).

Yep...growing up and living half my life in that area, good subs and cheese steaks are things I really miss, and one of the first things I get when I visit. About the closest I've found out here was a place called West Shore Pizza in Mason, but sadly they closed a while ago. They actually used Amoroso's rolls which all the places back home use.

I’ve really been getting into Potbelly recently. There is one in Florence by Meijer.

One just opened a few months ago in Alexandria. So far, so good. Hope it stays around.

Man, hope JM doesn't end up the same story as Frisch's.  Someone buys restaurant, starts cutting corner's on quality, monkey's with recipes and how things are made.
