Should be a exciting game for the local fans.. SW should be a little stronger in the trenches a pull out a close win...

Still hard to tell for me.. You never know what the coaches are working on in the scrimmages.. Pulaski's offense hasn't put up the big numbers I expected in their two games.. Southwestern did not run much of their offense in their two games and Rockcastle ran basic sets at SW last night... I'm sure PC and SW will open up the play book a little more Fri. night... Rockcastle and Somerset are solid so both games should be close battles....

The scrimmage went pretty good.. SW looked slow and tentative in the first half allowing Rock to go up 14-0.. The Warriors looked like a different team after the half and dominated the third quarter to tie the score at 14-14.. JV's played the fourth... Several scouts from Pulaski and Somerset attended and it looked as if both head coaches just ran their basic sets on Off. and Def... Both teams will have to play better to win their opening games next week...

Should be a good final tune-up for both teams before they open next week at the Correll Bowl.. Starts at 7 PM Fri. at SW..

I look for Rockcastle to play a defense similar to Lincoln Co. that took away Muse's running lanes last year.. Don't know if Rock has the LB's to pull it off but I think they will try to make Muse beat them by throwing the ball.. I think it will be a close game...

If it's not in the rule book it's not cheating....

The Warriors had a good winter in the field house with several players setting new school records and an over-all improvement in team strength and conditioning.. Good turn out for spring practice.. All the starters on off. are back and the def. returns several from last year.. The running game looks much improved over last year and should take some heat off the QB's.. The defense will be much improved against the run and the DB's will get better over the summer in the passing tourneys.. Quality depth might be a problem if they suffer the rash of injuries they had last year..
