Can't wait for this game.. Always a battle when these two teams play.. It's rained a lot here but SW's field drains well and will be in good shape for the game.. I like the Warriors in this one.. GRC will have to throw the ball a lot with some success to pull off the win..

It's been raining a lot this week.. If Bell's field is wet and sloppy I like Bells' chances.. If the field is dry, I'll go with HC......

I agree with Super.. Somerset laid an egg last week, but they are a solid team that can put points up in a hurry... Cobb will have his guys ready for Fri. and this match-up is rarely a blow-out either way so I think it will be a closer game than some think...

OK, you guys win.. The d line was perfect.. No need for improvement...Hey "dude", I'm on your side.. Most of the Ads rushing yards us up the middle, not on the corners.. Just need to stuff the first option a little better IMO..Don't know the stats, but he had a great game on both sides of the ball...Southwestern's Jordan Walters ranks with the best in 3A.. Hard hitter with lots of speed...The Rafferty' Bowl in Bowling Green is well organized and fan friendly as is the Ray Corral Bowl in Somerset....Exciting game for the fans, but I'm sure the coaches for both teams will have a lot to say in the film sessions and practice this week.. Both teams played hard and didn't quit but can play a lot better.. Danville had a lot of motion flags and put the ball on the ground too much.. SW's line play needs to improve on both sides of the ball... A lot of good play also, both teams should have good seasons.. Good crowds for both games.. The folks at Danville put on a great bowl...Will you be there for the first game too?? If so I'll for sure look you up... Should be two great games to start the season...I don't know what Danville uses but their field is always awesome...All the players and coaches on the bus are fine however an elderly women was ejected from the back seat of the car and died from the injuries...I'm sure someone will start a Boyle/MC thread later.. I only watched a half but the teams were pretty even.. MC is young, they lost a lot of Sr's off last years team but they seem talented.. Hard to tell about Boyle, they were playing a lot of different guys and and I'm not as familer with their roster as I used to be but the Reb fans will some more info...Don't have any details yet.. I was at the Boyle/Madison Central scrimmage but I'll post some later...Next Sat.(Aug 19) At Danville 8:00 PM..It will be the second game of the Bob Allen Pigskin Classic.. The first game will be Corbin/Rockcastle.. They got a couple of good D lineman and good LB.. Teams will have to throw the ball to beat them... Southwestern was in 4A for a couple of years before the last alignment.....Three quarters live action(except kicks)... Both teams were a little ragged and they've got a lot to work on the next couple of weeks.. Both teams O lines need to improve.. Dunbar needs to improve their conditioning.. After the first qt. the Warriors were by far the more physical team and really took it to the Bulldogs.. Mike Jones, Ryan Smart, Jordan Walters and Matt Robinson played well for SW and Dunbar's No.33 is the real deal...Coach Cobb says the new alignment was done behind closed doors with no integrity...http://www.somerset-kentucky.com/I expect another close one like last year.. Both teams return a lot of offense so the team that controls the lines and turnovers should win..
