Ha ha. I feel ya. Being only 21 years older than my boys I had more of a gap to compete with them. They beat me in sprints two years ago and the distance keeps growing. Congratulations to him and to you. You are very lucky to get to keep watching him play!

I wish everyone could hear Mr. Kelly talk about this whole experience. Kyle is taking this process in stride. It is actually extremely refreshing to hear about it from them compared to a lot of what we hear. They are definitely appreciative to be experiencing and enjoying the whole process.

Congrats. Coaching is in the blood. His Dad has coached bball forever, something like 40+ years and Ralph has been coaching since after college. I grew up playing with and against Ralph as well as graduating with him. It doesn't get much better. Congrats, Buddy!

I would agree. The NewCath and Holmes teams, particularly NewCath, that CovCath bested in '14 and '15 were very, very good teams. Holmes had one of the best PGs this area has ever seen and NewCath had 3 DI bigs on top of one of their best PGs ever. Anybody who watched those games, and the fluidity of Ruthsatz changing defenses and point of attack would agree that he outcoached his counter parts.

I want to put this in perspective. Some kids show us one side and then treat their peers differently. AJ does not. My sons do not go to school with him. They go the rival. However, they both rave about how cool he is to them at parties. He has no reason to be, he just is. When your peers rave about your character, you are a truly good person. He deserves everything that he has achieved.

This is a great selection. Alex relates well to students and knows the game. My boys loved playing for him last season.

Go to the Kavanaugh thread. There are 6 sitting on offers or committed. There is a 1st baseman transfer who is being hyped as D1 and two more that have outside shots.

I'm not saying that they are the best team in NKY history or anything like that. What I am asking is, with potentially 9 DI players on the roster, is this the deepest team that NKY has ever seen?
