I thought so too. It was rough and tumble, but they were consistent.

 

 

Reid Jolly came up so big in the second half. After missing 3-4 close ones in the first half, he came back to finish strong.

They will dance through this game and go to State...

Will play University Heights out of Region 2 - Hopkinsville next Thursday at 12Noon in Rupp.

 

UHA defeated Christian County 78-70 in Regional Finals after defeating Christian County 83-76 in 8th District Tournament, after losing to Christian County twice in the regular season.

 

They average 75 points a game, and give up 66 points a game.

 

Were the 2nd Region All "A" Champs and lost to Lexington Christian 68-47 in the first round of the "A" State Tournament at EKU.

 

They are led by Junior Guard (6'1") Deheyvan Tandy who averages 30.5ppg, and has scored 915 this season. Junior Forward (6'3") Taquan Hollowell and Junior Guard (6'1") Drew McGowan average 11.6 and 11.3 respectively. There are two seniors on the team who are not major contributors.

 

Tandy is being looked at by UK. Calipari attended their regional finals game.

He shoots 45% from beyond the arc, and 78% from the line, averages 3.2 rbds a game, and is their second-leading rebounder (Holloway 4.9).

Report said Day played with a spine injury.
