So...what are the last ten years of NCAA championships going to look like in the Final 4 program? Are they really going to have lots of vacated and asterisks?
I do 1 w/ a 24kg one. Talk about laser like focus required...I hope to be able to to do the sets of 3 in a few weeks. Last night felt much more stable. Last week, I almost Dropped it on my head in the descent.
Try it with a LIGHT KB. It will be easy, but you'll get the steps (up to your elbow, up to seating w/ a straight arm, BRIDGE...hardest part, sweep the leg under to get to 1 knee, brace and step up. Then go in reverse.) It, literally, is the worst exercise on Earth. Hades is 24 hours of Turkish Get-ups.
5 100 meter old man sprints
Then
Kbs
24 KGs
Clean and press x 6
Renegade row x 6/side
Turkish get up 1x each side (supposed to be 3...maybe in 3 weeks)
1 arm front squat x 8/side
1 arm swings 15/side
3 rotations. Tomorrow I will do Mr Wendler’s 5/3/1 2 day split. And try to do 3 sets of 6 minutes jumping rope
I like the intensity of Crossfit. People who do it right are in incredible conditioning. I just don't like the different workout every day. I like to train towards some goal, whether strength goal, jiu jitsu, whatever. I know that a lot of people are the complete opposite and love the constant variation and challenge. I just don't work well that way.
When were you there last? Indy has turned it around the last 4 to 5 years. I am not a fan of huge cities. Boston has far too many people for me. If I am raising a family as a coach, you can do far worse than raising them in Carmel
Belichick as a failure in Cleveland is grossly overblown. Cleveland beat New England in the 1994-95 Wild Card game, so he had a playoff win.
On the other hand, for people killing McDaniel for the Tebow pick, Bill wasn't really blowing up the draft board. He drafted 1 Pro Bowler in his time in Cleveland. He also was a complete failure.
Congrats to Kyle and the whole Kelly clan. Great people and a great family. If you ever want to learn how to encourage kids in sports and push them the right way, watch Mr. and Mrs. Kelly.
That family seems super tight so going to school across the country may be too much, but, Man, Stanford would be my dream school looking big picture as a tight end.
