Holmes 61 St. Henry 50
Nice win for the Dawgs. One more to get back to Rupp. Go get it done men. Dawgs will come in to the region finals fired up. How was the crowd tonight?

Holmes/St. Henry Predictions?
 Woah don't get ahead of yourself. St Henry is a tough team and took it to the Dawgs last time. But as far as this game goes, I don't see St Henry beating Holmes twice in the same year. These young men are determined right now and want a rematch with CCH. (Sorry Bluebird fans). I'll say St Henry keeps it close the whole game and Holmes wins it in the 4th quarter. Hill has been quiet the past two games so I look for him to have a HUGE game along with Rice. Holmes 57 St Henry 50

Notre Dame 59 Holmes 50
Congrats to the Pandas. If Holmes and CCH meet in the boys side, when would be the last time the same two schools met on the girls and boys side? I understand Notre Dame is different but you all catch my drift.

Covington Catholic vs. Highlands Predictions
CCH only beat Highlands by 3 last time...I'm going say CCH in another close one. This won't be a blow out. Highlands defensive style won't allow it

Holmes 59 NCC 44
Nice win for the Dawgs. This is the type of team work they need if they want to get back to RUpp. Holmes will be even more hungrier next game knowing St Henry beat them in their first match up and on St Hanks home floor.

Cov. Cath 53 Holmes 50 (35th District)
The simple fact is this...CCH plays more as a team than Holmes, which is why they're 3-0 against them this year. Holmes undoubtedly has more ATHLETIC ABILITY than CCH. Talent wise, Holmes has more, but CCH is more FUNDAMENTALLY SOUND. Hard work beats out talent any day. Hate to say it, but Holmes seniors have to ask themselves now, "How bad do WE want it?" The talent is there but they need to put it all together if they want to win region.

Cov. Cath 53 Holmes 50 (35th District)
All of you can talk about Holmes not having this or that but the simple fact is this...the last two CCH losses to Holmes have come on Holmes home floor. IF these two meet again which I'm predicting they will, CCH won't beat Holmes again. But as far as this game goes, Holmes had it wrapped up, but the better team IN PARK HILLS won. Congrats to the Colonels but just remember the next time you meet Holmes is will be on their home floor where the last time you met them there, they won. Good luck to both teams in the 9th region.

Holmes 58 Cov. Holy Cross 47
Holmes came out from the beginning on fire jumping out to a double digit lead and coasted from there.

Holmes/Holy Cross Updates.
Pretty much what I expected. Sounds like Holmes really took care of business tonight. I predicted a 10+ win by the Dawgs and they didn't disappoint me. They need to put teams away when they have the chance though and not get too comfortable with a double digit lead. But a W is a W. Can't wait to see the match up with teh Colonels Friday.

Holy Cross/Holmes Predictions!
First off, if you are going to post on another team's thread, atleast use a little grammar. Secondly, this is a Holmes/HC thread so Dixie shouldn't even be mentioned. Also, i don't know who the young man is you are even talking about so apparently he isn't all that you're cracking him up to be. Take this post to the Dixie thread because it has no relevance what so ever to what everyone is talking about. Thanks.

Holy Cross/Holmes Predictions!
HC had to use an overtime last time to beat the Dawgs JV team. WIth Rice, Henderson, and Jefferson all 3 on the floor this time with Hill, HC is going to have match up problems all over the place. HC doesn't have anyone who can guard Rice. Giwa is going to look silly trying to guard Jefferson, as he always does. Sorrell will be running around all over the night trying to keep up with Hill. Eifert will be out of the game midway through the 3rd trying to guard Rice. Oh yea, then you have that guy Arrez Henderson who can play any position you put him at because of hi athletic ability. Could be a long night for the Indians.

Holy Cross/Holmes Predictions!
TOG, I don't expect any time bomb to explode on the Holmes side. This bunch finally realizes this is their last chance to prove themselves and having DJ on the court will really help them keep their emotions in check. As far as the game is concerned, I'm gonna say Holmes by 10 +. Too much talent and they are really on a roll right now.

Holmes 88 E-town 63
  Hopefully the Dawgs can keep this up. If so, I really dont see them being tested again until they meet up w/ CCH in the finals of both the district and region.

Holmes 88 E-town 63
I think this is the most cohesive this bunch has been in a LONG time. Not only are they on an 8 game winning streak, but they are playing more as a team than ever: HOLMES (88): Hill 12 2 29, Rice 12 0 24, Henderson 6 2 14, Arnold 2 0 6, Clark 3 0 6, Nelson 1 2 4, Jefferson 1 0 2, Palmer 1 0 2, Humphrey 0 1 1. Totals 38 7 88. 3 players in double figures and 9 players in the box score. Starting to see a trend if some of you haven't picked it up yet. They have the key players stepping up who need to, but also are getting the role players and bench involved as well. EVERYONE is contributing.

Holmes 88 E-town 63
Rice and Hill were the stars tonight. Jefferson just kept feeding them the ball and they kept making the plays. Holmes is really playing scary good right now and are on an 8 game win streak. If I was Holy Cross, I'd be getting a little worried. E-town is a definite solid team, and Holmes really took them to the wood shed tonight.

Any updates on the Holmes/E-Town game?

Don't have any recap, but sounds like Holmes really put one on E-town and Pettigrew on the Dawgs Senior night.

35th District Games at CovCath: Who wins, & whose season comes to a ends?
:thumb: Was thinking the same thing partner. Holmes and Covcath will battle it out not only for the district, but also region championship.
-
9th Region
I say Holmes wins it. I dont see why people keep saying they don't play as a team when they have had atleast 8 players in the box score the past 6 games and 3 have been in double figures every game. That's pretty solid if you ask me.

Holmes/E-Town Predictions.
Holmes is really playing great TEAM ball right now. Don't know too much about E-town except Pettigrew is a baller, but with the game at Holmes, and being the Dawgs senior night, I'll take them in a close one. (5-10 points)

Dawgs continue to roll. They're really getting things together at the right time and playing great ball right now.
