BTW all of the 35th District Games will be broadcast live by the CovCath Internet Radio team. Now this includes the first round match up of Cov Holy Cross vs. Cov Holmes, which should be one of the best first round games of any district in the Commonwealth.....

Holmes is in the top five in the state on the defensive side of the ball 45.5 point per game. Holy cross only scored 49 in O.T. @ Holmes earlier this year against basically their J.V. and Hill. Although Holmes only scored 44 in the loss I believe Holy Cross will find a different monster on the offensive side of the ball next Tuesday.

:thumb: Was thinking the same thing partner. Holmes and Covcath will battle it out not only for the district, but also region championship.

My head is telling me that Cov. Cath beats Holmes in the finals, but I have a feeling that Holmes has put it together and they will run the table from here. I was a Holmes basher, but i am eating my crow, i am really impressed about how they have played since the suspensions. I did not think there would be enough ball in covington, but it seems I am wrong. Holmes plays the way they are playing right now, they will be playing in Rupp.

I think the finals are Cov Cath vs. Holy Cross with CCH coming out as the winner. With a home crowd like they have, the will put it in the bag.

I think that CovCath and Holmes will win their first round games. As for the finals, I will have to see HHS vs. HC.
