Don't have any recap, but sounds like Holmes really put one on E-town and Pettigrew on the Dawgs Senior night.

Wowza!

Complete 180 from what I thought would happen.

All I will say is for all those who said the Dawgs offense is missing, tourney time is here and their better be some teams ready to play because Holmes is about to get on a roll. If a team does not think Holmes can defend check out their rank in the state as far as point allowed. I believe you will find them in the top five state wide. Only Brossart in NKY has a better defensive average.

Would you mind making this a thread with a link (if there is one) please???

E-Town gave up 88 points and committed only 10 fouls, with 2 of them coming in the final 2 minutes. Holmes went where they wanted to and did what they wanted to on offense.

Any stats? How did Pettigrew, Hill, and Rice do?

Pettigrew had 25-30. E-Town's guard play looked very suspect. Hill and Rice dominated the game. Rice had 3 dunks including a half court alley oop from Jefferson.

Rice and Hill were the stars tonight. Jefferson just kept feeding them the ball and they kept making the plays.

Holmes is really playing scary good right now and are on an 8 game win streak. If I was Holy Cross, I'd be getting a little worried. E-town is a definite solid team, and Holmes really took them to the wood shed tonight.

Hill had 29 along with 6 steals.

Rice added 24

Pettigrew went for 29 but was dog tired in the 4th quarter. Holmes guarded him with a wave of players.

Strong showing by the Dogs.

big win.

Hill can absolutly play, I am pretty sure he has D1 offers, any one no where to.

Panthers left their game in Etown for this one. Holmes is athletic and quick, no question about it. Etown played the bullfighter defense, Ole and let them get a layup. The Hill kid can play. Steffphon battled with ZERO help from his team mates tonight. Our guards played with FEAR in their eyes. We turned the ball over w/o any pressure at all. UNREAL!

Good Luck Holmes, if you guys stayed focused you can make some noise in the post season.

You definetly spanked my beloved Panthers tonight.

Very suprised by the score, one would think this could be a confidence booster for the Dogs. ETown has played a pretty good schedule and this is one of their most lopsided games.

The suspension was a brilliant move by Holmes administration or coaching staff. The kids weren't around to get into more trouble or get burned out on hoops - during the tough part of the season. Now they are back and refreshed and with a chip on their shoulder. Holmes will be tough to beat the rest of the way out.

Holy Cross is more than just a little worried. Holmes will smoke HC in the districts.
