  1. This will be a MUCH better game the second time around. The Jackets will be on their home turf for a district title. Williamsburg has a great offensive scheme and seems to be clicking very well. C-Ville is healthy but last night was a big emotional win for the Eagles. Can they take another 2 hour bus ride and play with the same enthusiasm? The demanding schedule approach appears to have hardend these young Eagles. Williamsburg will be "Loaded for Bear". Should be a great game. More observations later.
  2. Last play-off win was 99'. It will be interesting to see the stats. I will report when I hear them. Had to be pretty even.
  3. Yes I was and what a beautiful facility. Great game by both sides. I was proud of my Eagles. What a turnaround from week #3. What about it Daddy, making the trip to Williamsburg? P.S. The prayer at the end was just pure class.
  4. Hey Chant 50, we didn't fold tonight. See you next week. Now that that is out of the way, what a great district game. Hats off to both teams.
  5. Should be a tough, physical game. The last time the Eagles went to Lynn Camp, they got their butts knocked off.... Even though the schedule has remained very demanding, these young men got tired of getting their butts knocked off. Does this translate to a Campbellsville victory ? Lynn Camp is a contender, even w/out Roskoph. They are big, physical and can play the game. Good Luck to both teams. I'll say C-Ville 21 Lynn Camp 19...........
  6. It will be a tough, physical game against one of the best 2A teams in the state. Glasgow is right in the thick of the 2A state title race. They run a variation of the Wing-T and have two big backs. Campbellsville will strap it up and will play hard. And by the way, I like the mountain football experience. Lynn Camp and Williamsburg are both class programs with very nice athletes. It will be fun the rest of this year and next. I see EXCITING football on the horizen. So, Daddy Cat, there you go brother. I support my Eagles, but in reality, I see the play-off lineup like this : #1 Williamsburg #2 Lynn Camp #3 Campbellsville #4 Clinton Co.
  7. All three teams are young teams. C-Ville has 2 seniors. The Campers and The Jackets are the same. Being young and having a little talent is a good thing. As far as the schedule goes, to show young talent how to be the best, you have to play the best. I have always been a fan of that mindset. Here is their non-district opponents total records : Campbellsville 47-18 Lynn Camp 37-26 Williamsburg 32-34 Those are competitive numbers. Good Luck to all Campers and Jackets this Friday. May all 3 teams play hard and let the chips fall where they may....
  8. Lynn Camp 42 Campbellsville 14 Campbellsville 68 Williamsburg 36 Williamsburg 40 Lynn Camp 34 Crazy District Race..... If things stay the same, Williamsburg will get to drube Clinton Co. again and C-Ville goes back to Lynn Camp. Could this 2nd meeting between Lynn Camp and Campbellsville be different? Or do the Campers have C-Ville's number this year. Crazy District Race Part II...... If Campbellsville beats Glasgow, and Lynn Camp and Williamsburg both lose this Friday, and Taylor Co. wins and Bath and Everts lose, than Campbellsville would be the number 1 seed based on the tie-breaker. Lynn Camp would finish with 9 total points, Williamsburg with 14 total points and Campbellsville with 15 points. Crazy District Race Part III...... If Williamsburg wins Friday, they lock up the #1 seed. Crazy District Race Part IV...... Willaimsburg wins, Campbellsville wins and Lynn Camp loses, than Lynn Camp would visit Campbellsville in the first round.
  9. As of Monday ( 10-29-07 ) : Williamsburg - 14 total points : wins over McCreary(3), Bath(6), Everts(5) Lynn Camp - 9 total points : wins over Cumberland(6), Harlan(1), and Whitley Co.(2) Campbellsville - 7 total points : wins over Taylor Co.(4), McCreary(3) Remaining Schedule : Williamsburg vs/ Pineville ( possible 4 wins ) Lynn Camp vs/ Middlesboro ( possible 6 wins ) Campbellsville vs/ Glasgow ( possible 7 wins ) That is the way it appears to me at this time. In this crazy football season, anything can happen. There are many possibilities of the final outcome. Have fun crunching the numbers of your team and Good Luck this Friday night.
  10. Sloppy outing. Little rusty after the off week. The score does not indicate the game. Campbellsville was in control the entire time. Played through some adversity as well. ( At halftime C-Ville had 304 yards of offense and McCreary had 102 but yet the score was McCreary 13 and Campbellsville 12 ) You can figure it out. Watts (#23) is a special player for McCreary. Good win Eagles...........
  11. The way he competed physically on the field allows you to feel for his competitive spirit. He is a true warrior and will be missed for the remainder of the year. But, with his mentality, I am saying his football career is NOT over. Good Luck young man on the next level.
  12. With only 2 seniors, Campbellsville is getting better. The schedule has been a challenge to say the least : ( #3 Frankfort, #8 Lynn Camp, #3 in 2A Green Co., #1 in 2A Danville, #3 in 4A Marion Co ) This hurts Campbellsville in the tie-break system, but maybe the difficult schedule will pay off during the play-offs. McCreary is next and are a good football team. Their running back ( #23 ) can go. He is as good as any we have seen this year.
  13. Michael McCubbin #24 for Campbellsville High School. 6'3 180 and runs like a deer. Also returns kicks and punts ( Two kick-offs returned for TD )
  14. Hey, Williamsburg Football, your players had some choice words for the C-Ville players too. From what the players told the coach, the " N " word was used several times. Players don't deserve that because they are winning. So, when you come back in November, leave the racial slurs at home and just play hard. Good Luck the rest of the way.
  15. Campbellsville wins 68 - 36. Their schedule was tough ( #3 Frankfort, #5 Green Co., and #1 Danville ) early on but they have been getting better. Good Luck Williamsburg with the rest of your season. Campbellsville hosts #5 in class 4A state Marion Co. this Friday. It just doesn't get any easier. Play hard Eagles and Good Luck.
  16. Member of GOD'S TEAM now..............Campbellsville sends love.
  17. Campbellsville will be small and be lucky to have 35 on their roster. No way they can win this district this year. I'm sure they just hope to compete week in, week out. Way too young..............
  18. The coaching staff at Campbellsville is VERY respectful of Lynn Camp, as well as the rest of the district. C-Ville has had some good football teams that played in a tough district the last 4 years. ( The toughest in class A according to the stats and data ) But after a rebuilding year like last year ( 2-8 ) the Eagles don't take anyone lightly. So please don't mislable these boys or this team. They have the utmost respect for all the teams on their schedule. To finish 5-5 or 6-4 would be quite an accomplishment for this still young team that will start 4 10th graders and 4 juniors along with 3 talented seniors. ( Only 5 Seniors on the entire roster ) So, sarcasium is not needed, but thanks for the comment.
  19. Shumari Bridgewater of Campbellsville
  20. Campbellsville Schedule : Frankfort Taylor Co. Lynn Camp Green Co. Clinton Co. Danville Williamsburg Marion Co. McCreary Co. Open Glasgow Lynn Camp's schedule can't even compare. In all honesty, could be one of the toughest in Class A. I guess we will find out in week #3.
  21. Coach Wiseman don't play pansies either. Campbellsville's non-district schedule includes Danville, Frankfort, Glasgow and Green Co. All four of these teams will be ranked in the top 5 of the respective class this year.
  22. Campbellsville is young and athletic. They feature " Tremedous 26 " member Shumari Bridgewater at R.B. He is 6'3 225 and runs a 4.5 fourty. They are young up front but run to the ball in a hurry on defense. Played in district last 4 years with Bardstown, Louisville Holy Cross, Bethlehem, Green Co, K.C.D. C-Ville is on a up swing and should be a fun year.
  23. I don't know who they open up with, but I know they got Campbellsville week #3. Looking forward to it...........
  24. I thought this was a top 10 in class A. You'll get off your high horse and pick the top 10, not the top 4 you narrow minded competitors.
  25. They return 8 starters on both sides of the ball.
