Central has me puzzled this season. They seem to not play very well on the road with the exception of Franklin County. Streaky play with the Belfry loss and getting shut out by a South Warren team that Logan County beat. Still, I just think Central will find a way to pull this game out.

We will find out if Boyle learned from their mistakes last month. Bodner hurt and going out in the 3rd. quarter last game not only hurt our offense running the ball but was also our safety on defense. Double whammy! Boyle will need to put some pressure on the QB and not give him all day to pick and choose his receivers. If they do that I feel we will win the game. If not, very easily could be the same results as the last meeting.

Fredrick Douglas is in a league of their own this year.

No if about it. Rowan, Boyd, Scott, or Holmes are no match for the Knights or Rebels. They both will win first 2 games. Harlan County and Letcher County will not knock off #1 Corbin to make us a #1 and #2 seed to separate us.

Best complete team I've ever seen play Boyle this century or maybe even longer. Like someone said earlier, they where faster, stronger and just plain better than us in at position. I see no one stopping them in 5A. Thank the lord we will not see a team like that the rest of this year in 4A and can now get back to business.

Honesty there is always a home field advantage but Boyle has not had a team like Frederick Douglas come into Rebel Stadium either. Going to be a dog fight and I can't wait! Big picture is A State Championship and this game will not decide that but will help your chances.

No doubt about it, it's going to be hard to get the W Friday at home. Over the past 6 seasons Boyle has a 43-1 record at home since the 2017 season. Douglas has steamed roll everyone in their path this year and something will have to give this Friday night! Looking forward to a meaningful game!
