Daytona is today at 4pm.

The Trucks and ARCA raced a few days ago and we had the Duels.  Weather (rain) pushed but the Xfinity race and the Cup race to today.

Anyone else watching?

William Byron is a Daytona 500 WINNER! ?

The 24 and 48 cause "The Big One" with around 10 laps to go which takes out 10 or 12 of the top 15 cars. They then go on to win finishing 1st and 2nd under another caution. 

This is golden boy Rick Hendricks 40th year in NASCAR and all week we heard about the 9 year losing streak in the 500 for his teams. I'm not one that buys into conspiracy theories that so many do...but the 24 and 48 finishing 1st and 2nd seems a bit convenient. Go ahead and write it down, a Hendricks car is going to win the title this year.

Byron Completes Perfect Weekend

William Byron picked up his second victory of 2024 Sunday at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), putting himself back at the top of the Playoff Grid.

This is Xfinity and not top level NASCAR but still.  Sam Mayer wins in an INSANE finish at Texas Motor Speedway.

The boss is thrilled. Her boy (and NASCAR’s golden boy) won this weekend after a long drought.

As @mcpapa was referring to, his boss' favorite driver, Chase Elliott, won at Texas Motor Speedway.

Tyler Reddick won at Talladega.

Denny Hamlin won at Dover.

And in the closest race ever Kyle Larson edged out Chris Buescher by 0.001 seconds to win at Kansas Speedway.
