Zero chance they weren't pushing a Hendricks car to the final four if given the chance.

I don't think Bell did anything wrong. FWIW.

Bell is ruled for violating the rule and Byron gets the final spot at Phoenix.

Chris Bell is one of my guys and I would like to see him in the finals over Byron but I agree with NASCAR and I think Bell violated the "Ross Chastain rule."

@theguru did he pass anyone while he was against the wall? I thought, and I may be wrong, that he'd already passed the car he needed to pass and the wall just helped him gather a loose car. 

It can never be proved but if it was reversed there is no way I believe a Hendricks car would have been penalized. It would have been "Incidental contact with the wall" or some other excuse from NASCAR.

End of the day, that was the most I've enjoyed a Martinsville race in decades!

I believe the rule is "you can't ride the walls" making it a safety violation if I follow so passing or not does not matter but he was in the act of collecting the position from Wallace .  I also don't buy into Ownership bias.  I think Bell rode the wall to gain an advantage and I think the call is right.

That is what one of the announcers said, or that it was some of the best racing at Martinsville in a long time.  It was a very good race.  I think NASCAR is putting out a great product, consistently.  I am kind of sad we only have one week left.

The best view to me is from Bubba's visor/dash cam, you can see Bell thrust forward. 

I would like to know if Bubba's tire after the race was flat?     Reminds me back when the Toyota's tried to change the championship when Truex's tire seem to lose air and put Bowyer in at Richmond that NASCAR had to rule on.  

I think I heard that if 2024 was “the old days”, the cars finishing in the 5-8 playoff spots would have been 1-4.  I’m assuming that means points for stuff like stages, passing cars, etc.
