My feelings now are do not try to understand the RPI. When ever you think you have it figured out, you find you don't. Like you said BG and Hendo really pushing up Boyle's numbers.

I wasn't expecting this. I thought it was interesting that Bryan Station, Danville, Henderson, Bowling Green, North Hardin, and Lex Cath all won this weekend. 7-1 Bowling Green and 7-1 Henderson County has been hot with only loss to Boyle. Frederick Douglas game looking to be big in 2 weeks. Could be a #1 RPI ranking on the line. Boyle gained quite a bit this weekend.

Personally, I don't care where Boyle is ranked in a poll. I know it will be settled on the field. I said on post #4 I believe #3 ranking looks right to me. I was the only Boyle fan that spoke. Your quote not mine. "I know Boyle fans think they should be number one, but the fact is you lost". I'm just saying NO Boyle fan said that. So, you don't really know. You just assumed. Actually it was 2 people. A Corbin fan and The Boss. I'm done on the topic just making sure that the facts are straight.

I can not agree more with this. Boyle knows where they need to improve for the next meeting in round 3. Traveling is not a huge deal for me as Boyle seem to play well on the road. Last Friday was their 1st. Road loss since Corbin 2018.

Looks ok with me. You beat the 2 time defending State Champion you deserve their spot.

I think Boyle and Lexington Catholic are both good enough to do it but the current RPI says no. For that to happen 1 team would have to fall to #4 and that's not going to happen or 1 team go to #1 and that's going to be difficult to pass Corbin with the remaining schedule. IMO they are locked in for a 3rd. round meeting. Boyle could beat FD and Lex Cath lose to Scott Co. and switch positions. I find that highly unlikely though. Planning on being in Lexington Friday November 18th. for a rematch!

IMO Mississippi State is better than South Carolina. Bulldogs 28-13

Really disappointed at the results of this game. Unless they turn it around soon I’m saying a 7-5 season.

Only thing I can think of is Boyle will get healthy the next 2 weeks. Bodner has time to heel a ankle sprain that kept him out in the 4th. quarter last Friday. Hardwick unless he wants to get the rust shaken off has 2 more weeks to heel a stress fracture. Other than that Boyle gets ZERO the following 2 weeks.

I don't think there will be any changes now that the updated RPI is out. Corbin, and Lex Cath will win out finishing 1 and 2. Boyle will get the 3 and Johnson Central the 4 in the East. I hope the RPI stays right where it is. 3rd round would have Boyle at Lex Cath. as of todays ranking if both take care of business in the first two rounds.

We stopped in Nicholasville on the way to the Lex Cath game and caught wind of it in the restaurant. Sad!

Scott High or Boyd will beat Anderson in round 1. Boyle will travel in round 2 as sister district #1 host #2 (Boyle). FD will be more bigger now for sure for later rounds.
