Boyle comes into this one off of a bye week. They are currently 6-0 and have won four of those by running clock. They're led by a plethora of weapons but Montavin Quisenberry is the most noticeable one as he was also named to the Max Preps National Player of the Year watchlist this past week. 

Russell County has put together a really nice season in Steven French's first year at the helm. They are 4-3, with the latest a 16 point win over Taylor County. Russell has missed the last few seasons in the playoffs in this five man district, but right now they're 2-0 in the district and in the drivers seat to finish in the top two in the district and host a playoff game. 

Can Russell keep it close and eventually pull off the upset? Will Boyle keep the train rolling en route to their 27th straight win? 

I think we know Boyle has this in the bag. However, I’m interested to see how Russell hangs in there though! Russell has surprised me all season. They aren’t the same Lakers we’ve known for the past several years and in my opinion if they can hang with Boyle and prevent a running clock, or even lose by 2 or 3 TD’s that’s a statement for Russell. Boyle Co. is no joke and I think most teams would consider that a plus when playing Boyle, lol.
