Letcher comes into this one after running clock on Taylor County 37-0. The Cougars are now winners of 3 of their last 4, their lone loss a one point defeat to Belfry on the road. They're a senior laden team as they start 7 seniors on the offensive side of the ball, but their QB is a sophomore, Holbrook. They run a spread offense and do a good job at distributing the ball and allowing their kids to make plays. 

Boyle County comes into this one winners of 31 straight, the latest a 57-7 win over Perry which saw a lot of their kids get a lot of reps. Boyle starters played till about halfway through the first quarter until the clock began running. Boyle special teams was rolling as they had two punt return for TDs in the game. One by Austin Bodner and one by Bubby McPherson. 

Can Letcher keep this a game and pull off the unthinkable? Or is it same song and same dance for the Rebels?

I said it once and I’ll said it again, Letcher County Central is a good team. They’ve lost some close ones against some good teams. However, they are far overmatched in this one. Running clock. 

Expect Boyle starters will get more than 10 offensive plays in this game.   Just need to get through this game injury free and be ready for the Johnson Central / Cov Cath winner.

6-0 Rebels.

Letcher came to play and the Rebels are having an off night, which very well could be caused by what Letcher Co Central us doing to them more than just being an off night. 

Letcher has stopped Boyle twice on downs and intercepted Murphy once for his first int of the year.

Two quick TDs by Boyle to right the ship.  27-6 mid 2nd qtr

Quick stop for the Rebs, followed by a 2 play 82 yard drive.  34-7 with 4 mins left in the half. 

Brown broke off a 77 yd run and got chased down from behind by the state 200 meter champ from LCC. No quit in this team. Boyle announcers very impressed with their speed and the way they play the game.
