Franklin comes into this one 10-0 off of a bye. Unfortunately for the Flyers, their last game against GRC they lost their Senior RB Christian Moore for the rest of the season. He was at 992 and 15 TDs on the season. Thoughts and prayers are with the young man. Franklin has had the extra week to prepare for Spencer County where their first opponent forfeited. The early game with Spencer saw the Flyers walk away with a 40-6 win.

The Bears are 5-1 since that last loss to Franklin. They scored a big win over 2 seed Doss by a final of 20-16 in round 1. RB Jake Greene is at 972 yards and 11 TDs on the year so far. Can he push that number to join the 1000 yard club and help pull the upset? Or does Franklin roll in this one.

Losing Moore for the rest of season is a huge hit for Franklin County.

Next man up!  The Flyer defense is still intact, so they should still be strong on that front.  Coach Peach and Coach James have many weapons to choose from, so I'm rolling with the Flyers in this one.

I think Franklin wins but losing Moore hurts their chances of making it to Kroger.
