  1. I sat in the parking lot waiting but left...shame on me...who filled in on the o-line? Jones’s spot
  2. Caleb is such a nice kid. Always makes time to speak with me, if I ask him questions. No blowing off with casual answers! On Mass days or football game days, at school, the teams wear white shirts, CCH ties and khakis. Caleb’s attention to detail...nicely pressed shirt, tucked in with a belt, pressed pants and POLISHED shoes...has nothing to do with football, but everything to do with...doing what someone of authority asks you to do, to the fullest extent. He will follow Coach E’s lead and he will go far. Great kid!
  3. Caps fan here...my son, who lives in the DC area was at game six. He and a buddy, who were leaving the arena in a very good mood, decided to go to GAME SEVEN. Tickets purchased, flights booked. Such a spur of the moment purchase, a bit of buyers remorse in the morning. Post game feelings...” a top moment of my life and I will never forget it! “ He said Tampa fans were great! Big Washington contingent in the arena...apparently there was a military defense convention in town, attended by numerous Washingtonians. Lucky day!
  4. Kept my mouth shut on the subject all year...C.J. Fredrick best player in the state!
  5. Sorry to hear this...will be thinking of him and his family!
  6. Excited for the team, coaches and county...have a great tournament! The state tourney is a different feel for the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th regions, I know from experience...to borrow from the SEC...It just means more!
  7. Well deserved, CJ! Very happy for you! Proud, too!

  9. Joan was the best fan of CCH football, proud supporter of Coach Ray and his staffs, always a pleasure to chat with. Condolences to Coach Ray and her family. She will be missed.
  10. 49er fan since 1969...lean years, legend years, back to lean...seen it all! Ronnie Lott is my all time favorite!
  11. Compares to when Aaron Rodgers landed his first big contract....limited starting experience after following a “legend” and performing well in that short resume. Now, Garappolo didn’t come in after a Niner legend, but followed Brady. I was giddy last evening. His signing should bring a better class of Free Agents to the Bay Area. A good draft and Let’s Gooooooo!
  12. Congratulations, Malachi...super happy for you!
  13. Last night, this statement, was a promise of things to come. Here's hoping....
  14. Congrats, Nick...he's such a nice young man! Very respectful to me!
  15. I remember seeing him for the first time on the basketball court when he was a sophomore in high school. He, John Pelphrey, and Minix,(think his first name was Mike) were quite a trio for Paintsville in the mid 80's. Of course, when Joey and John both signed with the Cats, this former mountain girl was very happy! Very sad to hear that he had passed, prayers for his family.
  16. Proud of the boys and coaches, great season ! Looking forward to work this week, everybody will be happy at school !!
  17. Not too shabby! Plus, brings home a championship! Congrats on a terrific day!
  18. No disrespect to Reese Smith but, I’ll take Michael Mayer, CovCath as best sophomore.
  19. AJ Mayer, makes good reads, great wheels, can make all the throws. His decision making is what impresses me the most. I’ve been to all but three of the Uk games this season, and watched those three on TV, he is a BIG upgrade to Stephen Johnson. Cats are missing the boat on this young man. He actually hasn’t signed his LOI, yet. After the lack of coaching control during the Louisville game, he may be better off elsewhere!
