  1. And a phenomenal Coaching Staff.
  2. 7 Away games? Ouch! Go win anyway!
  3. I'm missing someone. I'm guessing that there's trips to the offensive right that will make up for the 11th man. If I'm the play caller, I'm running fake dive left and throwing a dump pass to the RB straight down the middle of the field. OR QB Draw with the RB blocking the Mike. 7 on 6 in the box if your QB can run.
  4. Fantastic Coach and an even better man, leader, mentor, for all of our kids, by far. Absolutely loved Coaching against him and his teams because he and his teams were a standard to reach!
  5. Great choice for Ludlow. Not for us that coach & coached against him. He's good. We, opponents, didn't like the Barth option either. He's good too. Ludlow...You've somehow stolen two great ones. Please appreciate it.
  6. Result? Who's the Coach?
  7. Tony Adams played for us when I was blessed to be the HFC at Greenwood. This 'kid' (ok he's still one of 'my' kids! as is each 'kid' that I've ever been gifted to Coach) has always had a passion for the game, for the Team, for Greenwood. Heck, Tony Adams was an ILB on a defense built for ILBs! (Got the D from EKU when they were winning national championships!) I personally am elated with this hire. It may be selfish, AND I'm proud of this hire! The memories of the kids I got to Coach there, the parents who were so integral in getting us a leg up...Rzepkas, Trammels, Jones', ADAMS', Shiedler, and so many more. Plus the colleagues...Ed Smart, Jeff Griffith, Aaron McClung, were/are all HFCs in their own right (oh shut up and all were more successful than this old dude!) And now Tony Adams; Head Football Coach, Greenwood High School! As One: WE Win! Go be YOU, Coach Adams!
  8. Loved watching this kid play. May the peace that you're searching for finds you, Rondale.
  9. Head Football Coach position has been taken down from their Employment portal and four Assistant Coaching Positions are still posted. Who did they hire? Seems the hire must have come from within the system since it did not go the required 30 days for an outside hire (unless that rule changed and I missed it).
  10. Didn't he follow Coach McMillen at WV? If it's open ... Great Hire, you're right!
  11. I barely know Coach McMillen as I've only coached against his Teams. He's a heck of a Coach and his Team always played & won with class. So no matter what's going on at Ludlow Football, you've got my respect, Coach McMillen. I'm seeing the job post now and can't help but laugh to almost tears..."Shift Type" "Part-time". Uh, it should be posted as "Shift Type" "Forever"!
  12. Any roots to Craig Foley, Frankfort HS HFC for 19 years who did an amazing job there? I hated and loved coaching against him and his teams. If yes, You did good WE and I hate it b/c I'm still rooting for Greenwood!
  13. Every Team I've been blessed to Coach, has tied for first!
  14. They are worth every cent. Now, List the salaries of coaches and teachers. Those are the 'UNDERPAID' and most valuable.
  15. Coach Honaker is the best X & O coach that I've ever worked with in high school football.
  16. There is an Assistant Coach on this past year's staff that is one of the best unknown high school football coaches in the state of KY: Ed Smart. He's been a very successful head coach; Grayson County (NOT a football school) He was an extremely beneficial offensive coordinator. He's coached in college. Open your eyes. If you want young instead; hire his son. I don't know him personally...but I'm guessing he's good and he might hire his Dad. Go Win!
