Is it the shooting team or the defensive team that's the cause of this? HC was 5-20 in the Dixie game from 3. When you're playing top 5 teams, you have to be on in all facets. In 2 games vs Top 5 comp the last 2 weeks, HCs 3 point shooting seems to be off.

I get those giving the easy votes for Tim (Cooper) & Jake (CovCath), but the job that Sam has done at Holmes this year I don't think any of us saw coming. He's got good numbers, kids are playing hard and they are competitive in games they haven't been in the past few years and are winning some.

I've never understood this with a vast majority of the "bigs" over the last 5/10 years. Yes, I get that you probably won't play in the post/block at the next level, but you're not at the next level yet. Dominate the post/block now & help the team you're currently on win. This is the most logical thing you've posted. I'm not sure if it really matters who the DC is with the amount of $$ they are going to have tied up on the offensive side of the ball. The Bengals have to be kicking themselves right now for not extending Chase last offseason. IMO, it'll cost them at least an extra $10mil per.
