I am hearing this is a done deal, and the players or at least some of the players were informed. However, Twitter has been quiet.

This young team will be fine, they just have to learn to execute. They have dropped 15 TD passes, 2 tonight, they have multiple starters out, they have had over 400 passing yards called back due to penalties. The sacks will continue to become less, and the catches will continue to improve. There are some seniors on both sides that are being replaced by younger players. They are not far off. Play calling has to improve. They are calling plays, not calling an offense. No fluidity. Their 2 min O is nearly unstoppable, Johnson led them from the 2 yard line with 1:05 on a scoring drive to end the half. Perhaps they are "over coachcing" other times.

3 BAD turnovers, terrible offensive play calling, undisciplined football all night, and Male is crying about officials?

We don't have a team in KY that can beat St. Edwards, they are so big. But always cheering for KY!

Must win for Station. I expect them to bounce back, but not an answer for Duece Bailey. BG cannot stop the run so Station will keep it close. IMO BG 27 STATION 18

Trinity will have its ups and downs early, but will be rolling mid-season. They looked much better than last year's Springfield scrimmage. Final was 3-0, but there was 2 dropped TDs in the endzone on seperate drives. They were without 3 starting OL, who were held out. They are starting 10 sophomores, once things come together they will be nearly unstoppable in KY.

Unimpressed with Cooper. Their OLine could not block anyone. O'Hara is legit, good arm. CAL has some great talent at skill positions. QB will be an issue for them. Not sure they can repeat. CAL scored at will offensively. However, just a controlled scrimmage, no down and distance.

Just assuming smaller classes may have had onenat some point. Franklin Simpson may have had one several years ago.

Prior to 2006, the largest class was 4A.

Has a freshman ever led a large class team to state championship at the QB position? There has never been one in 6A. Trinity has never had one either. He threw for 2500 yards and 30 TDs.

He played for the Louisville Chargers and 8th grade at Dubois. He has been a top 5 QB in the country for several years. He is not your typical freshman.

Trinity will be fine, they are very young and starting a freshman at QB. The staff is doing a great job not rushing his development. He threw 17 of 20 for 273 yards and 3 tds last night. The vertical passing game opened up the run and Trinity was able to do what they wanted offensively because they were attacking all zones. As for Carmel, they are huge and athletic. Trinity can beat anyone on their schedule when they play like they did last night.
