Trinity 20 Ballard 0

Trinity was up 3-0 at the half.

Rocks better figure out who they want to be come playoff time. This performance won't cut it in 6A.

I agree, if they play like they did tonight four or five teams in 6A would either beat them or be close to beating them.

Trinity led 3-0 at half. Stats were very even Ballard led the total yards 290-283. Trinity was balanced  134 passng and 149 rushing. Rocks now lead 55-6 all-time versus Bruins.

Closer than I thought but Trinity defense played like you would think with the shut out. Back-to-back games without giving up a TD.

Some plays open there in the first half, just didn't make them.

Get JB Berry back and healthy and add a return of the team's best OL player and they have a few weeks to work out the kinks.

I still like this team's chances!!

RB Chris Wilson continued his great play from last week and was the catalyst with 151 and 2 TDs...No turnovers for the Rocks offense and was 3-for-3 on red zone trips in this one...There is definitely time to get going and hopefully Nate Shields isn't rushed back too quickly for this O-Line, regardless of need...I really expected the Ballard offense to rely on WR Stephens much more but Irvin was running a lot from the pressure and just could not get it to him...Kudos to the defense and the whole squad for keeping composure throughout

Another performance where the Rocks' struggled to find its offense but a better day than last week. Defense once again showed up with the shutout. Rocks haven't allowed a TD since the first half of the X game.

Getting JB Berry back to health and Nate Shields in there at OT should help this team a lot. Glad to see Chris Wilson continue to carry this team for a second week in a row from the RB spot. He had 151 yards and 2TDs.

Performances like tonight will get this team over the hump in district play. But come playoff time it just won't cut it.

This young team will be fine, they just have to learn to execute.  They have dropped 15 TD passes, 2 tonight, they have multiple starters out, they have had over 400 passing yards called back due to penalties.  The sacks will continue to become less, and the catches will continue to improve.  There are some seniors on both sides that are being replaced by younger players.  They are not far off.

Play calling has to improve. They are calling plays, not calling an offense.  No fluidity.  Their 2 min O is nearly unstoppable, Johnson led them from the 2 yard line with 1:05 on a scoring drive to end the half. Perhaps they are "over coachcing" other times.

Can't figure this team out.

Seems to be  a big dropoff from year ago.

Know we lost some great players,

Better figure out it soon - OTHERS are coming !!!

You can see play calling confusion on offense for the Rocks. Ball is set and coaches are looking at each other.

Does anyone know if the call is coming from the sideline or booth?
