Bullitt East opens it's home stadium for the 2024 season on Friday by welcoming the team that ended their 15 game win steak last year.  PRP beat the Chargers last year on the back of the departed Santana Crayton. 

This season's match up will find Bullitt East coming off an opening week victory over Mercer County and PRP trying to find it's first victory of the year after getting pummeled by Cincy area Taft High School.  

The Chargers weren't sharp in their opening game but were good enough.  They will need to improve on Friday's effort to keep the wins coming.  I don't know a lot about PRP other than they have a new head coach named Brandon Dunn who did not have a good first game. 

I think the Chargers in this one but they have to tighten things up to keep winning.

This is the worst PRP team in last 10 years.  Going to be a long year for them.

Brandon Dunn is an ex-PRP player who went on to play at UofL and also in the NFL with the Houston Texans I believe.  Anyway, the roster for PRP is thin this year with quantity.  They do have a really solid LB, Tucker Roth, who has offers from Marshall, EKU, Air Force & Army with Vandy and UofL showing a lot of interest as well.  Outside of him on defense, I'm not sure what PRP will be able to throw at the Chargers.  This is a good 2nd game for BE.  In all honesty, the first 4 games are good for the Chargers and will allow them to iron out the kinks hopefully.  If they don't, game 5 against Central could be brutal, as I think Central is the toughest team, including Male, on BE's schedule this year.  I'll take the Chargers in this one, 34-13.

After a very short kick. Not sure if it was intentional or not, BE runs a double reverse pass to a WIDE open receiver for a58 yard TD.

After two or three first downs and a really nice pass on 3rd and long the Chargers take it in with a 19 yard pass. Xp good.

On 4th and 12 from BE 39, PRP connects on a long TD pass that I initially thought was picked off. WR was double checked here’s and made a great play to bring it down, wrestle it away or whatever. 2pt attempt ng.
