Interviews are going to start the week before Christmas Break begins. Heard some names. All qualified. I think East Jessamine won't be able to go wrong just from the names in the mix that I was told.

Very big job opening. Would rank it one of the best jobs historically speaking that I have seen open this cycle. I’ve heard 3 names already over the last 2 weeks. Big hire coming up for this program. ETown is always in the mix!

Didn't expect to hear this opening today. Coach Clark is one of the good guys! Will be interesting to see who will replace him.

This job has potential when looking at location, facilities, pay scale, and overall athletes in the area. I’ll be very interested to see the list of true candidates. I expect it to be a mix of experienced coaches, and guys looking to make a splash. Very intriguing opening!

I was always a Mike Bowling fan. Congratulations on retirement! I do think it was time for East Jessamine to start fresh, and I'm interested to see the interest in this positon. 3-28 in the last 3 seasons. It's going to take somebody very willing to build this program.

This will attract some interest from that direction of the state I'd assume.

While some are preparing for the 1st Round of the KHSAA Playoffs, others are taking up equipment and cleaning the locker rooms. I hope this thread remains respectful. However, what jobs are we expecting and or hearing that will be open this cycle?

I say this respectfully of course. But, eventually Danville has to move on from Clevenger. Their program being in the shape it is has a lot of factors, but they need to begin to look deeper into those issues. Hope the Ads play well tonight!

Eventually, East has to determine if they are serious about their football program or not. They haven't won a game since early 2021. There are multiple up and coming head and assitant coaches in the area and region that would and could take the East Jessamine program to new levels. Eventually, leadership has to show that they are tired of being below average.

I've nver pretended to be a coach, and am not one. You people are missing the point, which is exactly my own point. Instead of blaming the coaches (because that's the easy route for every school, every team, every time they lose) maybe people need to look at their own actions. I have no dog in the fight, or really any interest in the situation. Just offered my opinion!

Coach Yeast was the perfect hire at the perfect time. Happy to see him having success!

If a basketball player gets a T: He comes out. If a baseball player intentionally hits a batter: He comes out. If a soccer player earns a card: They come out. But in this situation, a senior QB earns a personal foul and according to this thread, he shouldn't have came out? And it's coaching? A little bit of a double standard.

I wasn't there, but I did some research. Lincoln had a 4th and 1, with the ball around the 15 yard line. Had they elected to go for it, and not have earned a 1st down, Somerset would have gained the ball with 15 yards to go for a score. When Lincoln punted, it was 15-7 Somerset. The punt was the correct call. Frustration is no excuse to earn a personal foul in any sport I don't think. Congrats to Somerset! Coach Clevenger is doing a very fine job in year 1.

This to me, is an awful take. Levi wasn't needed to be a savior considering Lincoln went 6-5, and made the 2nd Round of the Playoffs in the last season before Crutchfield left. Parents and boosters want who they want. Would think both sides have moved way past the hiring of 2022.

I think Lincoln wins it. Casey County will be fired up and ready to play, especially with Coach Rogers making his first trip back to his old stomping grounds. I simply think Jaggers and company are just better this time. Lincoln County 28-14

Agreed. Lincoln had winning seasons in 18, 20, and 21. Just want to give those guys credit! I’m very happy to hear this for Mark, he will be a great addition to Lincoln. The guy wins everywhere he goes.

Wouldn’t shock me if the school changes their mind based off what you said. A school like ETown shouldn’t have problems finding good candidates.

I have heard 2 current HCs, and a former DC as well.
