Agree with all of the above. The definitely out played the Colonels in this 3rd ugly match up. Congrats to the Colonel Seniors who have been a blast to watch the past few years. A few we can keep up with their college ball careers. Also, word on twitter was, that 4 MLB Scouts were in attendence watching Jackson Reardon. Impressive young man!

Tomorrow at Thomas More Softball field the semi’s start with Ryle Vs Holy Cross. Ryle won the in season match 9-0. But Holy Cross is a scrappy well coached team ready to make some noise. Highlands & Notre Dame meet in which is a rematch of last years region finals in which the Birds came out on top. The Bluebirds won 7-6 in season this year, but neither team pitched their aces. So this will be a fresh look.

The way I have heard CCH football is they have a new strength trainer that trainer the team in house but not during school. They do use Nevels training, but not as their primary program.

I definitely would not discount Conner getting the W over Beechwood if they both advance. Highlands v CCH will be the wild card to me, will be intense I’m sure. Either team could come out on top.

Colonels pitching staff had only 1 ER in a night filled with errors. They used 4 pitchers and fought till the end but came up short. Reardon is back and followed up his 2 HRs at Dixie with a solo HR last night. Though he looked rusty in the field with 3-4 errors, his bat is bringing a jolt to the team. Beechwood's Flaherty pitched 6 great innings with Stiles closing it out.

I asked this in baseball thread, but is he switching gears to playing Football in college? I know he's commited to Louisville Baseball, did they pull that offer?

Is Tyler Fryman (2027) looking to play football in College instead of baseball at Louisville? Did something happen with the Louisville offer? I know many colleges are pulling baseball offers due to roster #s and the portal. I wish him luck and will be interesting what other offers he gets.

I am also hearing about him, can’t wait to see what all his off season hard work translates to this year. Sounds like a great young man!

Senior, Abby Turnpaugh beat the Notre Dame career Strike-Out record, with 588 strike-outs! Abby is commited to D1, Manhatten College. Congrats Abby, quite the achievement!

I have no idea what is going on with these boys. I have not heard about any new injuries. I know they are anxiously awaiting Reardon to be back with his bat.
