Queen's current Twitter page lists his school at Beechwood. Did he transfer after the holiday break? What's the scoop on his eligibility as I thought he played in several Varsity games?

No idea about Fridays game but I have heard he’s injured. Just not sure what the injury is. More of a testament to the whole team winning this tourney without Cash.

And another Ryle standout, Oli Morris, has commited to the Marion Military Institute in Alabama.

Congrats to Cov Cath's Marcus Suwinski for commiting to Ohio Wesleyan in Columbus, OH! Nice all around player. I am thinking CCH may have several commits this year, following Jackson Reardon, who is already commited to Cincinnati.

I heard Blake Hussey & Logan Wermuth are not playing this year. Are they both focusing on their main sports (tennis & baseball)?

With a spirit that will not die!

I will be rooting hard for the Colonel upset. Will have to play perfect, have a bit o luck and hope any errors can be capitalized on. Hoping the spirit that will not die shows up and hard.

There are "open borders" now, so even if you go to a Feeder School, you can choose any Catholic HS. Their Open House is open to any kids, Private or Public that are interested. Same with the youth football teams, do not have to attend a feeder school. ie: a St. Pius kid can play football for St. Henry or a St. Paul kid can play for CCH. CCH feeder schools are Blessed Sacrament, St. Agnes, St. Pius X, St. Joe's Crescent Springs. St. Henry's are St. Henry, IHM, St. Paul, Mary Queen of Heaven, St. Tim's. At least that's how I understand it.

CCH wins the 8th grade highest division in the GCL! This is the first time CCH has won this Championship since joining the GCYL. Coach Silbernagel is quite the coach, getting these boys ready, year after year, for HS ball. Congrats young Colonels and entire coaching staff! Cch has some excellent athletes coming up the pipeline.

CCH GCYL Teams end of regular season, play offs started this past weekend 8th grade ended regular season 7-1 (only loss to a team w Zack Taylor's son who is QB). They advance to 2nd round semis in the playoffs next weekend after what a scare and a double OT game at Moeller. 6th White- 7-1, 6th Blue 3-5 5th Blue 5-3, 5th White 0-8

Caden Miller is on the move...commits to High Point University, D1 in High Point, NC.

I totally agree, both are really fine athletic players, either of who will be ready by their Junior years. Is Link getting any JV QB reps? Not sure what the Queen plan will be? Would he be content just starting his Sr. Year? Will he just take his UK offer, commit and stay put? If he transfers, which school has a starting QB role next year?

I'm thinking of heading there tonight. Is Dylan Courtney CCH's QB or is he still injured?

How will this injury affect Fryman’s baseball season? I know he’s a Louisville commit, so I’m worried about Spring for him as he’s a stellar baseball stud.

Such a fun week for both schools! I know CCH is having this game be a Colonels Youth Game to encourage all the young, Future Colonels to come out an experience the craziness of this game and Braveheart march. Go Colonels!

Cov Cath also has teams in the Cincy GCYL (Moeller, Elder feeder schools) 8th Grade 3-0 6th Grade White 2-1 6th Grade Blue- 1-2 5th Grade White- 0-3 5th Grade Blue- 2-1 I'd like to make it to one of the 8th grades home games as I heard they have a 6'2 reciever, a QB that can sling it and a bunch of big thick boys ready to block.
