The tournament kicks off on Monday at Thomas More (Y'alls) Stadium.

 

Highlands vs CovCath at 10

Dixie vs Ryle at 1

Beechwood vs St Henry at 4

Conner at NewCath at 7

 

Highlands is the intriguing team.  They are 2-0 vs CovCath, 1-0 vs Dixie, 1-0 vs Beechwood, 2-0 vs Conner, and 0-1 vs Ryle

Had the weird loss to NCC which they avenged 13-0 in district finals and did not play St. Henry. 

I definitely would not discount Conner getting the W over Beechwood if they both advance.

Highlands v CCH will be the wild card to me, will be intense I’m sure. Either team could come out on top.

Dixie Heights defeated 9th region 2024 champion Ryle 4-3.

Agree with all of the above. The definitely out played the Colonels in this 3rd ugly match up.

Congrats to the Colonel Seniors who have been a blast to watch the past few years.  A few we can keep up with their college ball careers.

 

Also, word on twitter was, that 4 MLB Scouts were in attendence watching Jackson Reardon. Impressive young man!

Out of touch with specifics about Reardon.  Scoreboard had him as only playing the last 4 games this season.  Is he coming off a major injury?  Saw he had 3 HRs in those 4 games and was hitting a hot .500+.

Rake????  Showing my age again.  Been 53 years since coached HS baseball and 35 years since coached knothole baseball.  Our rakes were used for field prep.  Are you saying this young man is really good getting the field ready??

If there were scouts there they were also there to see McIntyre throw. 

Highlands is on a tear right now. At least we will be able to listen to the finals. Keep up the good work Mr Bucher.
