What has happened to my Frisch's Big Boy?
I was thinking the same. The last couple times I've stopped by the Kyles location the food was closer to what I remember it before it went down hill.

Chiefs leaving Missouri?
Heading to Kansas for the 2031 season. Will still be the Kansas City Chiefs, just from Kansas City, Kansas. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/I'd/47391840/kansas-lawmakers-approve-proposal-help-chiefs-build-new-stadium "The Chiefs intend their new stadium to be built in Kansas City, Kansas, near the Kansas Speedway and a retail and entertainment district known as The Legends. The area is home to Children's Mercy Park, the home of MLS club Sporting Kansas City, and Legends Field, the home of the Kansas City Monarchs minor league baseball team."

NFL General Discussion - Week 16
I will open by saying that I think spitting on another person requires more than a 1 game suspension. The league certainly needs to look into that. Any sort of verbal or physical altercation with a fan should call for a really stiff penalty. I, for one, don't particularly like attending NFL game, and I am very hesitant to take my kids to one, because they are not family friendly. Too many irresponsible drunks and wannabe tough guys. If you have to be concerned about the players getting belligerent, where do you go to feel like someone wants you there?

NFL General Discussion - Week 16
So what's the guess on how many games DK Metcalf misses for taking a swing at a fan?

Clemson 68 Cincinnati 65
Day Day Thomas led all scorers with 17, but the Bearcats still fall to 7 - 5. They have 8 days to figure things out before Big XII play begins. The conference has 6 teams ranked in the Top 25 and if Cincy can't get things righted, they could get buried at the bottom of that conference, really fast.

Cardinals at Bengals Predictions/Updates
Bengals 35 Cardinals 20
-
Bengals 45 Dolphins 21
Helps when a bad team, with a rookie QB making his first start, turns the ball over a lot. But to the Bengals credit, the offense was clicking and the defense made plays. 2 more games like that and the off season changes can be looked at so at this point next year it's 11 - 4 and not 5 - 10.
-
Louisville 94 Montana 54
If there was a game at this point in the season that they could afford to not have those 2 guys, it was this one. With another 10 days off before ACC play opens, hopefully they are back and ready to go.

Chiefs leaving Missouri?
https://www.nfl.com/news/chiefs-close-to-leaving-arrowhead-stadium-for-new-home-in-kansas They've been wanting to replace Arrowhead for years and it sounds like just over the border, in Kansas, they are ready to give the Chiefs the state of the art digs they desire. The article mentions Kansas City, KS, which is literally right across the state line from Kansas City, MO. I have also seen stories that mention the Kansas capital of Topeka, roughly 60 miles further west.

WNBA: Rockets ownership looking to buy Sun
Looks like the Connecticut Sun, who seemingly had a deal to move to Boston, now may be purchased by the same ownership group that owns the Houston Rockets. That purchase would come with a relocation to Texas. Hopefully they come up with a new name other than the Comets 2.0. https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/I'd/47357385/sources-rockets-owners-expand-talks-buy-move-sun Maybe the Houston Rockettes? LOL Although I'm sure that Radio City Music Hall would never let that happen.

2026 Cincinnati Slingers (International Arena League)
Isn't this basically what the Kentucky Barrels are? Is it really wise to oversaturate a market with gimmicky garbage? I lived through the Cincinnati Rockers. As long as the Bengals are in town, whether they are headed to the playoffs or riding out a 4-13 season, it is still miles better than arena league wannabes. One arena league team will struggle bad enough, 2 are doomed to utter failure.

Bengals at Dolphins Predictions/Updates
In a trainwreckish kind of way. Although it looks like Miami will be playing Quinn Ewers instead of Tua, so he may look like a Hall of Famer in his first start. I saw some bad Bengals teams keep Chris Chandler in the league for a lot of years.

Academy Awards moving to YouTube
Beginning in 2029 the Oscars will stream on YouTube insead of broadcasting on a network (it has been ABC for as long as I can remember). In other words, the networks were willing to shell out big money for something that gets less and less viewership each year. https://www.cnn.com/2025/12/17/media/oscars-youtube-academy-awards-abc

Rob Reiner and wife murdered
Very sad and I'm sure it will get more sad as additional details are released. Mental illness is a problem in the world that needs to be dealt with on a larger scale than is currently happening. Rest in Peace, "Meathead"

What is your favorite, older Christmas movie?
The 1951 Alistair Sim version of a Christmas Carol is my favorite, but I enjoy just about any version of the story. For some campy comic relief, Youtube has Rich Little's Christmas Carol. Very late 1970s.

Ravens 24 Bengals 0
Bad defense is why you lose games 45-38. You lose games 24-0 because of breakdowns on offense, defense, special teams, preparation and coaching. Everyone in the building owns this loss.
