  1. I read that as Oregon can't afford to get their team to KY to play.
  2. Indiana 114 Chicago 106 (OT) Aliyah Boston scores 34 for the Fever. Caitlin Clark adds 32 and 10 assists. Sky led by ex-Louisville Cardinal Sydney Taylor with 30. Indiana had a 19 point lead in the second period, but had to struggle to hang on. They have a habit of losing big leads....They might need to work on that.
  3. That one looks almost like a statue.
  4. Heck of an effort to go for the steal...But once she missed, that was Caitlin in an open practice gym.
  5. https://www.cnn.com/2026/06/08/sport/brendan-sorsby-texas-tech-analysis This will allow him to play at Texas Tech in the 2026 season....which is ridiculous. Doing what he did will get you kicked out of every professional league, but somehow the courts don't think the NCAA should have that power. If the Red Raiders put him on the field for even one play, college sports is officially dead. The Big Ten is already discussing not scheduling Tech in any sport for a regular season game. I'd imagine other conferences will follow.....Even the other Big XII teams are looking into not playing them. Of course Texas Tech could solve all this by telling him to pound sand and just dismiss him....but to they have the spine to do it and deal with the eventual lawsuit?
  6. Indiana 78 Washington 76 Caitlin Clark leads all scorers with 19, including the go ahead 3 with 1 second left. Exciting ending to a relatively sloppy game. Michaela Onyenwere leads the Mystics with 17.
  7. Yeah, If you needed to turn left out of there onto Dixie Highway, you might as well just eat your food in the car while waiting.
  8. New York 83 Indiana 75 Breanna Stewart leads all scorers with 30. Liberty won this game at the FT line going 33-40 (to Indiana's 9-15) The W refs need to find a happy medium. They, rightfully so, caught a lot of flack for allowing rough play last season. Now they call too many fouls and too many trips to the monitor for potential upgrades. Let them play, but know when you have to take control. Killing flow isn't helping anyone.
  9. I've come to realize that 99% of things written on-line about Clark, Steph White, the Fever and their peripheral nemeses, is click bait and not really worth the read.
  10. Indiana 83 Atlanta 71 Fever finally had the intensity on the court that they were missing the last 2 games. Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 25. Aliyah Boston added 19. Caitlin Clark with 17 points and 8 assists. Alisha Gray and Jordin Canada both has 13 for the Dream.
  11. And with the first pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select….(insert failed QB here)
  12. Portland 100 Indiana 84 No way to sugar coat this one. Fever flat out got their butts handed to them. Fire's Megan Gustafson leads all scorers with 22 UofL's Emily Engstler puts in 16 and adds 10 boards Aliyah Boston leads the Fever with 18
  13. There are no "moral victories", but Indiana did not play well, at all, and still only lost by a bucket....with a great look to tie it at the end of regulation. Live and learn.
  14. Tonight at half, Fever and the Valkyries are tied at 44. Caitlin Clark gets her 500th career assist, in just her 59th game. The fastest ever to 500 assists.
  15. For the first time since the strike that ended the 1994 season. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/I'd/48903168/mlb-owners-propose-first-salary-cap-1994-strike "Under the proposal, presented in a meeting with union officials, each team would need to maintain a payroll of at least $171.2 million without exceeding $245.3 million, starting in 2027." "If the sides can't negotiate a new CBA before the current one expires Dec. 1, owners are likely to "lock out" the players until a new deal is in place." "Fans overwhelmingly support a salary cap and floor like in the other leagues because they don't believe a $446 million spending gap from top to bottom is a fair fight," I, for one, am in favor of the cap, but more importantly, the floor. If you are going to own a team, act like you care about it.
  16. I have no first hand knowledge, but this feels like a stop gap move. Appoint Rash now, and you've bought at least 1 year to do a search and find the right fit. Saves you from making a bad hire now just because you have to have someone before summer practice starts. He left Beechwood on his own terms a few seasons ago, as was his right, and seemed content with the choice. Maybe the interim gig at Conner reminded him how much he loved it and he's back for a longer haul than expected, but it feels like a 1 (possibly 2) season stint, so that a place he clearly loves can make a decision that is best for them.
  17. An absolute titan in the world of jazz https://www.theguardian.com/music/2026/may/26/sonny-rollins-jazz-saxophone-dies-aged-95 RIP to a legend.
  18. Personally, I think she's still trying to figure out how to play coming off injuries. She's always been a little boisterous when it comes to fouls and the like (but most are now post LeBron et al in the NBA) and she's not backing down from anyone. Once she learns to control the frustration coming off being hurt, she will be a bit better at it. She's always going to be argumentative, but the flagrant fouls, hopefully, go away.
  19. Indiana 90 Golden State 82 Caitlin Clark leads Indiana with 22 points and 9 assists. Aliyah Boston adds 20 points and 16 boards as the Fever improve to 4-2 on the season. Tiffany Hayes led the Valkyries with 19.
  20. Fever have gotten a "tsk, tsk" from the W for not including Clark on the injury report. https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/I'd/48840146/wnba-warns-fever-leaving-caitlin-clark-injury-report "WNBA teams are required to report player injuries, illnesses and absences -- as well as their participation status -- by 5 p.m. local time the day before all games. The first public indication Clark was dealing with any back concern came 100 minutes before tip of the Fever's 90-73 win over the Fire." Not sure if that is worded wrong, or I am just misreading it. But if a game is on Wednesday. 5pm the day before is Tuesday. It's totally possible for someone to be fine on Tuesday and then wake up Wednesday and be ill, or hurt and in no shape to play.
  21. Indiana 90 Portland 73 Aliyah Boston leads all scorers with 24 points. Tyasha Harris added 7 assists filling in for Caitlin Clark.
  22. The words "abundance of caution" were used too much during the game. LOL. They certainly didn't need her tonight as they are handling the expansion Portland Fire with ease.
  23. In less than 2 full seasons worth of games.
  24. Indiana 89 Seattle 78 Caitlin Clark leads all scorers with 21 points (and a game high 10 assists and 7 rebounds) as the Fever improve to 2-2 on the young season.
  25. Where did Illya Kuryakin finish? Sorry, someone had to do it.
