If I’m a draft pick, unless I’m going Top 10, I wouldn’t be upset at all going to a team with a Super Bowl window and a franchise QB.

Looking at the 2nd round for Levis, you have the Lions at 34, Seahawks at 37, Raiders at 38, and Titans at 41 that could be in the market for him. I could even see the Pack at 42 taking a look in case the Jordan Love experiment doesn't work out.

If the Bengals were ever going to trade up, this would be the year. They have a starting LT wanting to be traded so package Williams with their 2nd and go get someone they want.

Do you take Mayer with Smith signed and build for the future or take the more pressing need in an edge rusher or DB.

This Levis fall is tough to watch. Unless someone trades back up, I don’t see a team to take him in the 1st round.

I've seen all the chatter today on either Gibbs or Kincaid for the Bengals. I am fine with either. They know Mixon is becoming an issue and his age will catch up to him so you find a replacement and move on. One of the receivers is going to have to go at some point, either Boyd or Higgins, hopefully Boyd and eith Kincaid you find a threat you can lock up for 5 years with Joe and Ja'marr. Personally if you have a starting LT demanding a trade and some wiggle room in your draft capital, why not take a chance to move up and get Bijon Robinson?

I'm more interested in who the 2nd QB taken is. Levis, Richardson, or Stroud.

With the draft being tomorrow, I thought we should discuss our thoughts on the Bengals draft. Personally, I would love to see them get Meyer or Kincaid and have a TE of the future instead of these 1 year wonders especially in a deep TE draft. Outside of that, they should take some DB help.

Will Levis has gone from off the board to second best odds to be the #1 pick.

This job will be interesting. It loses the 16th Region POY but returns some solid pieces and can be a good job. Looks like they have an assistant handling workouts right now so don't know if that assistant is being considered. Look for someone like Matthew Perry, who coached at Morgan for a long time, to try for it and some assistants or experienced coaches to go for it.

Baseball may be "America's Game" but the pace of play and everything else was sending it down the list of desired things to watch. Reds moved home games to 6:40 because a 7:10 game would sometimes go until almost 11 and the casual fans wouldn't tune in that long. I try to watch the Reds every night I can and I love the fact that a 6:40 or 7:10 first pitch is over by 10:00 when I try to start going to bed. All the other rule changes like the bigger bases are increasing runs and stolen bases and exciting plays. Other sports have made changes to increase scoring or exciting play, like the NHL making the goals wider and less icing calls. It was past time for baseball to do the same.

They will become a 16th Region basketball powerhouse.

Bath had the 16th player of the year and still had a good year. This is an interesting hire because he hasn’t stayed anywhere long recently and has some new players everywhere he’s gone. He is the ultimate “win now” coach. Southern will have a good team returning and has been good at developing the next wave to come through. We’ll see if Wright is there long enough to keep that going or is just “win now”.
