Biggest series of the year at home. If the Reds throw any lineups or show any sign of not being fully committed to winning, it will show a lot. If the Reds sweep or take 2 of 3, they will be right there but if that gets flipped, season is over.

Keep in mind, the picks he just got were from a team that he just made immensely better with Parsons so that pick is probably going to be at worst in the 20's. Still good talent there but not enough to cover the impact Parsons will have over those years.

Bengals put in one claim for a DT. Are they done or do they still look to add? A veteran safety and DT are now the biggest positions to add IMO.

They’re set with starting tackles. They need someone who can fill in when needed that isn’t Cody Ford. Brown can’t play 50 snaps a game but I would trust him to sub in 20-30 plays over a game.

4 games left this week. Tonight with LA and this weekend at home with the Cards. Mets have 1 with Philly and a 4 game set with Miami. Reds need to go 3-1 or 2-2 to stay in it going into next week. A series loss or sweep by STL will likely mark the end because they will jump us in the WildCard race. Mets come to GABP next weekend so Reds will have a chance to gain some serious ground if they can stay in it until then.

Some intriguing roster cuts that should entice the Bengals. I feel they need to claim or sign 1-2 more OL but Zac said yesterday he felt the starting RG was already on the roster. A tag would cost $38 million next year. No chance the Bengals are dumb enough to hush him walk. They’ll tag him and get what they want in the draft.

I expect them to tag Hendrickson and try to trade him for a high draft pick before the draft.

Reds have prospects that they see are either far away or never really going to help them that they can use to secure someone better than Ozuna. No reason they can’t get a big time bat like Luis Robert and a couple relievers without breaking the farm. Chase Petty, Serwinowski, and Edwin Arroyo are prospects who fit that mold that will bring back some quality. Dream deadline for me is an infielder (Ramon Urias, Ke’Bryan Hayes), a hitting outfielder/DH (Robert, Taylor Ward), and 1-2 relievers.
