Correct me if I’m wrong but LCA had their qb against pikeville right? Pikeville’s running back had an all career night. I think the issue with a lot of fans across the state is that they look at stats. MF stats don’t tell anything about this team. The team is so well balanced that you can’t pinpoint where the offense comes from. Add in the running clocks and the jv playing half of the time and it’s confusing. MF will be there in late November.

I agree playing a tough schedule means a lot. As far as determining if a school will make a deep run because of it, I’ve also seen it play out both ways. I’ve seen the school with the weaker schedule win and the school with the tougher schedule lose very early. With that being said, this is the playoffs. Anything can happen. Just know My pick is MF/BW at state.

Beechwood would destroy OC. I hope that isn’t the championship match up. I still believe Mayfield and BW meet on the big stage in December.

I think they’ll make a deep run. The unsportsmanlike penalties are what worry me the most. Those 15 yards can be costly in a big spot during the game. These kids have to know that every single game that teams are going to say and do things to get under their skin. Unfortunately, it’s a part of the game but you have to know it’s costing every player in red 15 yards and not just yourself.

CC held them to just 25 points???

Hopefully these tough losses are building blocks for PT to make a deep run in the playoffs.

I have felt for the last couple years his heart hasn't been in it. It looked like he was burnt out. Hope he enjoys his retirement.

So LCA gave up 49 points?? I understand their qb got injured but 49 points doesn’t have a thing to do with the qb.

So is Jax out for the rest of the season? I never really saw when he got injured.

Beechwood got my respect times 10 with their generosity with the tornado damage. I thought I lost my mother in the candle factory that night. When I saw the selflessness the beechwood community showed during our time of need, I couldn’t do nothing but give praise. I’ll forever be grateful.

The beautiful thing about this game was the publicity this game got leading up to Friday. I'm forever a cardinal but I love when the western Kentucky teams are the top dogs. I feel like anything past bowling green doesn’t get attention or the respect that it should as far as sports. This game garnered the attention from all of Kentucky. I wish Paducah nothing but the most success on there journey to another title.

I always say, if you have to let the officials decide the game, you’ve already lost. A lot of Paducah fans said they would lose this game if they had too many penalties. I understand the magnitude of the game but you have to stay composed.
