He did have a great team but I think not playing very many games due to the covid restrictions put on public schools really hurt him. UHA did not miss any games or practices due to weather and covid and that really helped them. The championship game Saturday should be a good one. If UHA can control the guard from Madisonville they have a shot. He was covered by two players most of the game and still scored. Will be there early to get a good seat!!!! Also Heyworth was hurt by not playing many games this season also?

Coach Miller did a great job cleaning up the mess he was left. He has installed discipline and has the team going in the right direction. With the pandemic and many games being canceled I think he did a great job. Hats off to Madisonville as they played a great game!

Yes a great hire that will have the support of the fan base and players!

Did the referees protect him?

I hear Keith was contacted but said he was not interested. He has a good team coming back next season and he is trying to showcase his son. With CCHS having a down year this might be hard for him to shine at CCHS. He is a good coach and would be a good hire if he would come back but at this time I feel he will stay in Knoxville.

Any news coming out of Marion on this hire?

Coaching showed out in this one also. One would wonder how it would have turned out if Embry a seasoned head coach was still running the show? Perry did a good job but he is a AAU coach and this was his first job and at this level and he is going up against some very seasoned coaches.

It was a war! Both teams played their hearts out! They left nothing on the court!

It really looks bad when a ref would put himself in that position. I think it would be best if the person asked to do another game to avoid a conflict!

What if you lived in Russellville and was scheduled to call a Owensboro- Hancock Co game and you went to school there and a parent was the assistant AD several years ago? Just making up the schools to protect the innocent!

What would be considered a conflict for an official on calling games? What should the restrictions be?

Should an alumni of a schools that has moved away , be allowed to officiate for the school they graduated from in a regional tournament? In the state tournament they ask for conflicts. I would think this might be a conflict?????

I should have said experience as a head coach. This was one of the top jobs in Western Ky and could be again with the right hire. I think you might have several applicants that will surprise you when the dust settles?

Keith has a better job in Tennessee, why would he come back to a team that will be rebuilding as all he is doing is showcasing his son. ‘McCombs does not have much to offer so I don’t see them hiring him. ‘Lewis is a good proven coach but is at the crosstown rival. Jaggers is a great young coach with a great family background. He would be a great hire if they could get him to take it.

This job is/could be one of the best in Western Kentucky. I do not think they will settle for a person that has never been a head school at a large school or a coach that has never had a winning record. There will be several proven head /college coaches that will want this job.

Terrible sportsmanship!

First thing he need to do is hire former Christian Co. Coach Steve Lovelace to run his defense. He is one of the best defensive coaches in the state!

Is he the coach Cal of Kentucky high school coaches? This guy is the total package and never ever loses! The GOAT!

Really sad that they had to run up the score? You would think they would not do that. Hope they get beat in the region!!!!
