A few back, they held a coaches banquet,in Mayfield,the keynote speaker was Tony Franklin, Franklin did not say what level he might be interested in coaching, but he did say he was interested.After all, that is w the type of offense Mayfield run,the Franklin spread.

Another name that keeps coming up in the circles that I run with is Tony Franklin.

Ok, I will give you one, generally speaking, most of the time, when Paducah Tilghman beats Mayfield, Mayfield wins a state championship, I get what everyone is saying, I like to virtually stir the pot.

As far as I am concerned,both teams are 0-0, With no prior records of playing with each other and no stats to compare for this year, it’s about what happens on Kroger field this Friday. I am rolling with Mayfield.All am saying is all time OC vs Mayfield since 1919 does not matter, Mayfield went to Paducah this year with a 17 year winning record and….it does not matter.

Is Barnes not at one of the Owensboro teams, does not someone in his family work in Owensboro area , which was the reason he stepped down at Caldwell?

Early this spring, on the Mayfield thread, I made a comment about a 8th grader walking from the middle school to work out, and how easy he sprinted around the track that is that freshman.

The fans I met (3) from Beechwood, were great to fellowship with, if I am not mistaken the fan that was very great to talk to,introduced himself as #42’s dad it was good to meet you.
