These are almost never correct, but it definitely gets people talking about them.  I don’t really think the guy who does the rankings has any knowledge of football in general.  At least he got the top 2/3 right.

Love KSR... but it needs to stick to basketball. This is comical. 

It's pretty bad for the most part every year. I stopped paying it too much attention after the conclusion of the 2022 season. I appreciate the efforts in to trying to recognize KY HS ball clubs, but you can tell they stuck this job on an intern or two and rolled with it.

Matt on KSR Radio has nothing to do with these rankings. He sold the website to another company (On3) a couple of years ago. He just owns the radio show and co-owns KSBar and the "Rasslin" company OVW.

I agree with this list a lot better than the KSR poll. I do find it interesting that Douglass is behind Male since Frederick Douglass went to Male and defeated them head to head on their field. They also defeated Trinity at Trinity in Week 2 and lost in OT again at Trinity. I agree with KSR on the first 3 but I just don't see how Male could be ranked above Douglass. jmo

Better all around season, plus the head to head could have gone either way.

Better record but definitely not a tougher schedule. Douglass played 6 of their 12 games against teams ranked in this top 25. Two games vs. Trinity, Male, Boyle, Corbin, and Bryan Station. They also opened the season vs. Archbishop Hoban who finished the year as the #27 ranked team in the nation (MaxPreps) and lost to the state champ of Ohio 7-2. They also played Indianapolis Cathedral who finished #6 in Indiana in all classes and #3 in 6A. It is usually in any league or conference the first tiebreaker is head to head. I guess we just have a difference of opinion. I just think it means a little more if two teams are evenly matched and you beat them on their home field.

Trinity is not the #2 team in the state. Not this year.

Bowling Green isn't better than St. X, St.X had multiple turnovers and still beat them 27-12. I would put St. X at 6 and BG 7 and move the other teams down 1.
