3A, competition wise has to be the weakest of the 6 classes with the top being so separated from the rest. Did any 3A team not named CAL crack the state top 25?

If we get the Oline going I believe we can be as good or better than last year. Nolan Basham should fill in nice at middle backer for Eli Hampton. Strong aggressive hard nose kid. I excited. Ready for football to kick off already. For 5A I like Atherton, Woodford and O at the top. Only reason I’m not picking Scott County is because I’m not sure they can get past Wofo.

Would be a heck of a game! Think game could go either way.

CAL is an amazing program but let’s be real after Ryle and BG(neither of which they running clocked) they played nobody. O would’ve beat both those programs in Nov of this yr… O was missing 3 starting defensive players and a safety who just came off a leg injury, we were very unorganized. Don’t know how much you followed the Devils throughout the season but Dillard only got 1 look the entire game. That should tell you all you need to know about G’ways chemistry with the team at the time. I highly doubt it would be anything near running clock territory. I guess we can agree to disagree.lol Still give CAL the win just hard for me to imagine anybody outside of Trinity clocking the Devils around playoff time.

I have CAL ahead of O also. But O at state and O 2nd game of the season are 2 totally different teams. Definitely wouldn’t be a clock situation in Nov & Dec.

The tie breaker would have to be the man that carried his team to the 1st title victory in 39years. Wouldve been nice to see a senior season Head-to-Head. Would’ve been a heck of a game.

Long time coming was an understatement. Was beginning to lose hope?

I know a few fans mentioned it earlier in the season. Is it safe to say this was the best Devils team in history. Went through the playoffs without a team coming with in 21 points. Pretty impressive. Huge shout out to Coach Ganaway. Met all expectations 1st year coaching.

Not so fast. Screams more to the improvement of the Devils. They might be playing at a top 3 team in the state level. Good at all phases of the game. If BG is no good and Atherton was overrated, you gotta say the same for Woodford county.

Anchors the defense imo. Clogs the inside like no other. Hard to escape his grasp. D1 schools are really missing out on a steal.

This game is going by wayyy too fast. Tre Shemwell #6 a junior has stepped up really big this season. Having a heck of a playoff run. Last week he had a 105 yard interception return this week he runs back a punt return for the 1st score of the game. Will probably be 1 of the only 2 way players next year.

Without the mistakes I believe O is a running clock better than Pulaski.

Yes rather easy imo. Only teams competing with CAL are in 6A with a few in 4A.

Big shout out to South Warren for keeping this game way closer than many expected. Don’t think any other team in the state could give Trinity that close of a game. Congrats to Trinity on yet another state title. Must feel like regular game day for the Rocks at this point

Idk both teams return starting QB. O returns a lot. And a lot of young stars coming up too. The entire receiving core will be back for O. Along with all the DB’s besides Carr and Ashley at MLB The Red Devils always have a RB in the stable ready to go. They’ll be right back in the mix next year.. OC return some stars too, imo both programs will stay in the mix for some time to come. Thought it would be hard to for OC to replace Carrico, then came Crowe, thought Crowe would be hard to replace then came Maddox. OC develops players, they’ll be alright.

Would have to be RB or WR as he has very few defensive plays in high school if any.
