Pullom, will be the biggest difference maker for this years match up. He should get plenty of pressure on the QB. He will need to have is best performance yet if the Devils want to pull this off.

Don’t forget to throw in Atherton…. Pulaski kind of got slighted in the rankings. They should be #2.

Is he ok, how long is he expected to be out? that's def a hit to the defense as he’s their hard hitting safety. I did noticed during the scrimmages Shemwell has been playing a lot of safety. There’s not much of a drop off there if any. As for running back O has a stable with Walker and Kindle as the back ups they’ll be more than ok in that department. O has done a good job of building depth.

Really? I only see maybe BG and Atherton moving up and replacing Pulaski or the loser between the Scott County vs Woodford game. Maybe O drops down to 2 or 3 if they get blown out in their 1st 2 games. Outside of that this looks pretty stationary. Do you have any of the 7-10 moving up?

Graves will be improved from last year but so will Mayfield. I expect a hard hitting physical game may even be close for a quarter or 2. Mayfield will eventually pull away as they have to many horse for the Graves to contain for 4quarters. Graves 14 Mayfield 35

The last team to hold the Devils under 30 pts was CAL on 8/29 (wk2) of 25’ season. The best way to stop a high octane offense is to get to the QB and fast. And that’s what X does best. This is my biggest worry. South Warrens DLine is good but St. X’s is that much better… I think Coach Ganaway and staff will be prepared for it this go around. Get the ball out to your play makers early. Establish some rhythm and confidence. If O’s oline can hold just long enough to get the quick passes out to the playmakers, this game will look very different from last year. Also O has to find away to get to the QB on defense. Last yr X’s QB had time to eat and wash his hands before he passed the ball. That cannot be the case this time.

O has played St. X in the 21, 22 and 25 season all 3 were losses where X just simply the more physical team and imposed their will… I believe this year is different. O is playing with a lot of confidence and will try to match or beat X’s physicality. The energy will be high at Rash. Although I expect a low scoring defensive game. It will be tough for any team to keep Shemwell, Dillard, Bryant and Walker out of the end zone for 4 quarters. Devils 21 St X 14

We all know what Boyle is bringing. I’m interested to see how Atherton plays after losing their best player to CAL.

That's hard for me to believe. With all they have returning and the coaching staff. I still have SW coming out of the west in 6A in my early predictions.

Definitely have SC in the top 10(maybe at 10) Especially if their defense steps up this yr. Still expect them to have a dog fight with Wofo in that rivalry match. This year SC comes out on top imo.

Who is Max Johnson’s replacement? Maybe Apollo is working on building depth?
