Without trying to sound like an obnoxious fan. I believe this game will be a running clock by the 3rd quarter. Not to take away from GW in the slightest bit. They’re a good team maybe the best team since Howard’s (Superman) team. Which came to Rash in the 2nd round and gave the Devils all they wanted only losing 27-21 in ‘22. But this Devils offense is a much faster hitting offense than they were in ‘22 that can demoralizes running teams once they’re up 2 scores within 5min of the 1st quarter. Taking opponents out of their rhythm and it snowballs from there. I watched GW against MNH and they're basically the same team. With GW having the slighty better passing attack… Even if GW can slow down the Devils offense can they score on the Devils defense? They only scored 21 on MNH who defense allowed Apollo to score 49. The same Apollo that only scored 14 against the Devils. I know games are won on the field but just off caparables alone this game shouldn’t be close. Greenwood will be the best team O has played since O’Cath. That said Devils 42 GW 14

Isn’t his receiving core down this year compared to previous years?

Congrats to Apollo for making it to the 2nd round. They should come out with a lot of confidence to start, but it will be short lived. After next Friday only 2 teams will remain in the playoffs from Owensboro and Apollo won’t be one of them.. BG is just too much for the Eagles especially in the post season. The Eagles should try to keep it as close as possible and build on this momentum going into next season. BG 42 Apollo 17

PT was kind of a fluke and 2 of the losses were one possession games. Wouldn’t say the wheels fell off but more so the competition picked up.

Congrats to the GW Gators they have now won theirselves a trip to rash. Could end up being a good game.

That’s weird cause we’ve had 3 teams in the top 10 from our district at one points. Only 2 teams in 5A had a harder schedule. BG and Cooper.

I would. O has running clocks on 4 teams better than Grayson. If O isn’t looking pass Grayson and plays their game, I see this game being 56-14 in favor of O.

Idk why the attack on 102.7 the game. Those guys put in a lot of work to highlight the kids in the local area and do a great job at it. The main host is an Apollo guy so that statement doesn’t even make sense.

But they lost to DC so the consistency isn’t there.

Maybe they can but they haven’t seen an offense like O’s this season. North Oldhams offense isn’t even on Apollos level if you want to put it in perspective… Plus Atherton has struggled to run the clock on teams that would get clocked by O in the 1st quarter. To me they’re just another Fairdale…. They can change that soon.

Have they faced any legit offenses outside of Manual? I know they just beat North Oldham but they haven’t played anybody worth mentioning either.

Shift BG up 2 spots and I like it. Just have an eerie feeling about the Purples. They will knock out a higher seed at some point in the playoffs, just hope it’s not my Devils.

MNH run defense is pretty good. Defending the pass is where they are weak, that’s how Apollo and O capitalized the most.. Does GW have a decent passing attack? Both teams play into the strength of the other teams defense. This should be a low scoring slug fest.

Give me the Devils taking care of business with a 1st half running clock.

Before the DC game I had Apollo winning this game by a couple of scores. But after they loss I’m thinking this game is a toss up.

It won’t be easy but I definitely think this year is as good as any in the past 10yrs… Difference between now and 2020 Devils. Wimsatt didn’t have the same level of athletes around him that G’way has. Kenyatta Carbon was a baller no doubt but Hampton and Dillard together are harder to prepare for and stop… Defensively we’re about the same.
