Well, #2 and #3 receivers are really good, Fryman just helps open up more opportunity for them which gives BW 2 more powerful weapons.

In the season thus far Queen’s #2 target has close to same amount of passes as Fryman, not being open wasn’t the problem, it was more of the the rush attack from CCH’s D-line. Plus, Beecheood’s #3 receiver is just as good as #1 and #2, just not as many throws to him this season so far. It would be really great if Beechwood could play stronger competition prior to going into a game like CCH so they could be better prepared for the defensive pressure. I think this would help the offense all around.

IMO….Queen’s 7 carries was more from being rushed and not able to throw to his receivers. CCH D-line created that from happening, job well done on CCH’s part. IMO…Would have been better on the Beechwood Offense if they could have adjusted and gone to Wildcat. Not having Fryman with more touches to run or hand off to Pabst hurt.

Loving the banter back and forth, end of the day I hope fans from both sides can move forward to support each team on winning a State Championship for both 5A and 6A. As of today, Conner High School is the only school from the Boone County School District with a state championship.

Greg Hergott at Beechwood is definitely another. He has a lot of rings to prove his case. There had been some past state championships where he just flat out coached the other team from an offensive perspective.

As much as I’d like to see Cooper win, Highlands is too much for them this year and especially next year. Cooper lost too many good players from last year to compete with teams like Highlands this year and especially next year. The positive is that 5A is down from last year and with Highlands dropping to 4A should be a walk for Cooper until the state semi’s. Birds 46 Jags 17

Also be on the lookout for Tyler Fryman WR/Safety from Beechwood. Although he’s a junior he has great opportunity to make some noise and one to watch out for this season.

I.M.O., Highlands and Covington Catholic should be higher to the top in rankings.

Regardless how you feel that Fryman “should” be a senior, he’s in the right grade by age. See how you want, he’s in the right grade now.

It’s a better scrimmage for Beechwood on getting more out of this vs. Ryle. IMO…..I’m thankful Ryle would give Beechwood the opportunity to scrimmage. From what I can tell Beechwood has 7-8 2-Way players. Ryle looks to at least have 3-4 2-way players. Ryle has more experience in this scrimmage, but does look like Beechwood is getting more comfortable on offense now vs. when they started earlier tonight.

Fryman is not playing……offense would look different with him in play.

Fryman may be sitting out this week for the Ryle scrimmage or at least have limited plays. He’s been at a MLB scouting event in California the last few days.

100% on the assistant coaches. Most are still at Beechwood and they are the BEST.

IMO…..Conner will win 9 regular season games. The kids and families are great and most if not all went through a successful youth and middle school program. All of that hard work will pay off and now having Coach Rash in place as well as playing in honor for Coach Trosper will be a major impact. I’m wishing the Football program and families the best this season.

I so hope Coach Rash can get the Bandit youth following, and I so hope it happens during his time there. Did ever wonder why the Bandit youth program was not called the Cougar youth program? Coach Trosper could not support the start of the program, YES, the founders of the Bandit Youth program wanted to have the team called NKY Cougars, similar to what Raiders Youth (Ryle) and Jags Youth (Cooper) but Coach Trosper did not support the program early on because the Bandits started in the NKYFL vs. BCYFL. The BCYFL was struggling and the parents in Hebron wanted better for their kids and the community. It was a tough decision, but over all was the best. Those in Bandit program today probably don’t know how everything started and why, but it was for the kids and the community. The community was all in, the business association was all in, shoot there was people who didn’t even have kids in Hebron all in, but the head of the administration at Conner and the head coach wasn’t. FACTS!!!!! Those who read this know the truth and you can take that to the bank!

Maybe the schedule didn’t match up, BUT can assure Beechwood “authority” wanted to play.

Speaking to a major decision maker at Beechwood on this same subject this past week I beg the differ.

Too Bad some of the larger schools don’t like playing Beechwood because it doesn’t help their RPI, especially if they loose, it stinks it comes down to that because a match up with Beechwood and Highlands the last few years and going forward would be fun to watch.

Be on lookout next year for Beechwood. The team is young, loaded with talent and solid pitching that will blend into the rotation with Arrasmith and Stiles next year. The team will be pushing hard in all areas of the game to not only end back up in the 9th Region Championship, but win! Yes, we all know how hard it is to win, who’s hot and who’s not at the time of the tournament, who’s healthy and who’s not along with a little bit of luck too, BUT the youngsters at Beechwood have the taste of defeat from this season and they’ll be back.

As mentioned in another message, Highlands is on Fire and will represent the 9th Region well at State. Overall, they had a great regular season as well.

Congratulations to Highlands, the team is on FIRE and should represent the 9th Region well at State.
