A game of two halves. Boyle County was up 21-0 at the half. LCA came back to tie it at 21. Boyle County drives down the field with a little over a minute to take the lead 28-21. LCA puts together a great drive but comes up short on downs in Boyle County territory.

Boyle gave up over 200 yards rushing. LCA always seem to play Boyle close. Good win for the Rebels! Oakley Watkins is the best Offensive Coordinator in the State.

Very concerning second half. Defense is supposed to lead this team but LCA imposed their will in the second half.

An ugly win is better than a loss anytime. LCA is a good team. Boyle didn't have their best game, but will learn much more from this game than a 40 pt blowout.

I’m not trying to take anything away from LCA but Boyle County had several miscues that could have put that game away. The high snaps, penalties, and turnovers in the 3rd quarter nearly did them in. Credit to Boyle County for turning it around and finishing a really good LCA team.

Awful high praise. I’m sure there are a lot of other guys that might be up there. Hatchell from mayfield off the top of my head.

Greg Hergott at Beechwood is definitely another.  He has a lot of rings to prove his case.  There had been some past state championships where he just flat out coached the other team from an offensive perspective.

Cantwell calls a good game, I’m pretty sure…

    Preach.

I just read through the thread. Sounds like an incredible game.
