I think this is a good schedule for Conner. Interested to see how they look next year. Definitely some challenging games in there with Madison Central, Ryle, and Simon Kenton. 

Anyone know when Conner will have spring ball? Is there anyone that could tell us a little more about what the Cougars have returning from last year's team?

I think they have a few nice returning pieces. Pretty sure their leading rusher is returning I really like the explosiveness he has when he has some space to really use it. They should be pretty decent but like you mentioned there is some really tough games in there. The outcome of that Ryle game should set the bar for the season. Cooper, ouch.

I hate to say this and I hope I am wrong but even with them being able to be good or decent they could possibly go 3-7. Am I completely off on that? Or are they going to be alot better than I think they will be.

I am hearing Conner has their spring game today to conclude their spring practice. Looking forward to hearing about it if anyone plans on attending. I believe it is after school from 3-5.

I had Conner around 6 or 7 wins this year before the passing of Coach Trosper. I now lean more towards 7 with Rash there, and the players playing inspired this year to honor Coach Trosper.

I think they lost alot of good football players.

Wow...Noel Rash & Tom Spritzky. That's a combined 35 years of Northern Kentucky head coaching experience walking in the door of the Conner coaches office.

I know he only is in as the OC but when Sprtizky was at Dixie his teams were not know for being very disciplined, same as it’s been since he stepped down. Will that be a factor on the offensive side of the ball?

That was definitely THE first thought that came to mind when I read that he was the new OC at Conner.

Describe not disciplined for me.

His players getting stupid penalties, like cheap shots for no reason other than doing it. If he held his players accountable it didn’t show on the playing field. The Dave Brossart era at Dixie was just a continuation of that attitude. To myself and many others Spritzky didn’t hold his players accountable for being knuckleheads on the field and even making excuses for their behavior.
