Honestly I thought Lincoln would struggle with the loss of Bodner and Frye but they came out and got it done against a good Pulaski team. Smith is a talent over there and he put LC on his shoulders and put on show. Pats going to be tough out.

Game was originally at Danville but was switched to Garrard due to high COVID numbers. Ads bring some experience and another deep threat in Ford to go along with Ethan Wood in the middle. If They can find some consistency in the younger kids they could very well be playing for the region title again. Garrard has some big shoes to fill due to graduation of Sebastian one of the top players in 12th last year. They add Ethan Cooper a good shooter which will help but they lack some size. I say Ed goes 1-0 Tuesday night. 74-62

Good Preview. Stepp is a special talent for sure. Lets hope the season is a go.

I agree a lot of potential in these teams. Stepp is really explosive but graduation has to hurt them some. Boyle, Danville and DCA has a few transfers that could prove to be pleasant surprises later in the season once they learn how to play with new teammates. Going to be some interesting basketball early on with the Covid layoffs and missed pre-season. Cant wait.

Congrats to Boyle on the win and congrats to Franklin Co for showing they are for real. Great game.

Only one Flyer truly knows how well the rebels play at Playoff time and that is Moorman. He is an athlete and former BCMS Eagle. I hope Franklin is every bit as talented as mentioned because it should be a great game. With Gillis transferring it put the rebels on top. I take Boyle by at-least 3 td's. I just think they are a top 5 team in the state from coaching staff to water boys the program is strong. Strap those pads on tight Flyers you are going to need it. Lets get it!

Scenters should have stayed at Garrard. His teams improved greatly every year. Central is in that 6A bracket just tough to compete year after year. Someone should jump on board quick with Scenters.

Sounds like a reasonable plan of action. I agree that we need to take precautions and allow kids to be involved. Kentucky should proceed with similar regulations.

Bad situation for those seniors. One bright spot is the b-ball players that play football will get a head start on the uncertain season. Hopefully we will get to see some b-ball. With a new coach, system and losing Sebastian they need all the reps they can get.

Yes he did leave for GRC. Cooper also is now at Garrard which makes a huge change for the Ads. Heard Garrard also had Twin brothers transfers from Madison County. Boyle has had a few transfers. District could be interesting this year.

Pulling for Perry & the Lions but Dudley gets the bobcats back on track this week. Bell wins but not as dominating as last year 34-12.

I enjoy watching all high school football teams play. Just my observations from watching online. Garrard will get better but they could be harder to defend with a more open offense. Parkey is a player and Chasteen is a bulldozer. Both teams have some players but rest assured I am no Rocket faithful. Anchors Aweigh!

Garrard has a few play makers and could potentially be pretty good in a couple years. For them to be competitive they have to change that 3-4 yards a play ground and pound mentality. They have to get the football to those kids in space and create 1 on 1 match ups to exploit teams like Rock, Bell, Knox, Belfry etc. Teams like those mentioned are to well coached and physical to just pound the ball at them. The Lions have a few lineman but only a few. Like gchs_uk9 mentioned depth is a concern. They had several players being tended to by trainers during the rock game that started. Hope they are not serious injuries. It is time for them to upgrade their strategies for sure.

Number 8 is the real deal. Even more impressive when you see him cut and throttle in person. If LC can find some stops they may get an upset or two.
