It was announced tonight that Centre commit Defensive Lineman Gavin Gibson broke the career Tackle for Loss record and senior kicker Garrett Wolfe broke the career PAT record. Cline broke the single season rush yard and rush TD record as well.

East Carter must be much improved since I watched them play last.

Prestonsburg was a much better team tonight than they were in the first meeting. Tackled much better and their play fakes were incredible on offense. Brewer is doing a great job! Congratulations Comets!

Feels like the Comets haven’t play on their field in years! 5/8 regular season games were on the road. Now their playoff game has been moved to a neutral location. I don’t see the point! They haven’t even had their homecoming ceremony yet.

If I were to bet, Beechwood will be the 2A state champion. I like Somerset in the District 4 rematch and I just think Beechwood is better than Somerset.

No inspiration will be drawn. Raiders aren’t anywhere near that level of football this year. Red Devils win very comfortably.

As a fan, I would like to see the clock get rolling early and the varsity get pulled at halftime. Hoping for an injury free game!
